Mary and Virginia met in 2009 in San Diego. We became roommates within weeks of meeting each other, and no amount of distance has been able to separate us since. Mary has always been my confidant, my steady rock, my partner in crime, and my first phone call when anything big happens in my life, including my engagement to Nick. I am honored and so proud to have her by my side on our wedding day!
Rachel Dacus

Rachel is my (Virginia's) younger sister. We've always been close, and have shared an open, honest, humor-filled relationship for all of our lives. Rachel is intelligent, adventurous, hilarious, and a talented singer/musician/songwriter. I have asked her to play me down the aisle during our ceremony, to a song that she wrote called "Honeytree", a beautiful melody of love and life in the arms of someone you adore. She is so important to me, and I'm ecstatic that she could make the trip to share in our special day .
Katie Mayeux

I (Virginia) first met Katie on a full-moonlit beach on St. Thomas in July of 2017. We were both from Texas originally, and our individual life paths had taken us far and wide, yet we had both somehow ended up on this tiny island in the Caribbean at the same time. Katie has been a mentor and a sounding board, an adventure partner and a business partner, a soul sister and a trustworthy and reliable friend who I love and feel privileged to have next to me on my wedding day.
Tyler Rice
Best Man
Tyler and I have been close friends since we were both in diapers. Many of my best memories of life in St. Thomas, Tyler was right beside me. We grew close over a bond of sports, adventures, and more recently a sense of spirituality. Tyler is a huge role model of mine, and a real inspiration to be around. He cultivates creativity, generosity, a willingness to push the boundaries, and above all he has an amazing sense of compassion. I am so grateful to have a friend like him, and to be able to live so close to one another!
Gavin Landgraf

I met Gavin my first year of college in California. While sharing a deep conversation on the way back from skiing at Big Bear mountain, I knew that I had met someone truly special. Through the next 4 years of college, Gavin, myself and some other great friends went on countless surf trips to the coast, ski trips up to the mountains, and other fun adventures around the area. You cannot help but feel good when Gavin is around. He is one of the most genuine and caring people I have ever met. He has such a huge heart, and has such a love for life, his energy is infectious when around him. I am waiting for the day when he becomes the next President!
Landon Bunn

I met Landon when his family moved on island, while we were both in middle school. We became friends playing soccer together, and created lasting memories. Landon, like myself, moved home after college, and now we share fun boat days together, and a common interest in home construction and property management. Landon is caring, thoughtful, and great to be around. He is creative and hardworking, and I am always excited to hear about his latest project. It has been so nice having him home, and I am excited for our continued adventures into the future!
