When Naomi and Ginnie go out together, everyone asks if they’re sisters. Naomi has been saying yes to that question for years…finally it’s coming true! But theirs isn’t a sisterhood just from marriage- Ginnie and Naomi have a friendship that only God could have so masterfully brought together. Naomi is a social worker with a passion for children in the foster system- which speaks to her humongous heart for the people around her and natural warmth that she applies to every friendship. She made Ginnie welcome in the Gandy household from day one and that’s her specialty- making everyone around her feel right at home. Micah is a spunky, loving, fiercely loyal, GIFT of a friend. She will drop anything to help the people around her- heck, she serves severely injured veterans for a living?!?!?! Ginnie and Micah met senior year of college, but it wasn’t until 2nd semester did they realize just how much they had in common. Disdain for fakeness and a JOY for all things Jesus, the beach, Kaila Itsines workout programs, genuine conversation, potty humor, oat milk maple lattes, and life. In a few short months, Micah quickly became one of Ginnie’s closest friends, confidants, and greatest source of encouragement. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely, easily selfless. Erin and Ginnie met for the first time when they moved into their Dallas apartment together one year ago- both were wary of a random roommate, but trusting mutual acquaintances was the best decision Ginnie ever made. She and Erin are two peas in a pod. No other human on EARTH shares the level of Ginnie’s giggly, weird, loud humor while simultaneously valuing the depth of true friendship and conversation. Erin has the loudest laugh that immediately makes you smile, a heart of pure gold, and a knack for saying it like it is. Erin was the most unexpected gift to come out of Ginnie’s time in Dallas- and what a gift she is!!! Where you’ll find her: petting the dog (or searching for the closest one). Fun fact: Erin. Is. Hunter and Ginnie met through their sorority, Pi Phi. While neither of them were very “gung-ho” about Pi Phi, they bonded immediately over a shared love for good food, music, and Jesus. Hunter is the best type of friend. She’s always willing to take a stroll, listen patiently during venting sessions, bring the red wine to Bachelorette nights, and laugh about anything and everything. With Hunter comes no drama- she’s decisive while easy-going and an absolute breath of fresh air. Where you’ll find her: Taking a break from the people and noise to look at the stars over Lake Michigan Fun fact: Hunter has a 1.5 year old bernadoodle fluffball named Wilbur and a fluffball of a husband named Grant.

Ginnie’s #1 friend since Freshman year of college, Aubrey has a smile the size of the sun and a contagious laugh. A kind, genuine, tell-it-like-it-is kindergarten teacher, Aubrey is the kind of person people are magnetically drawn to. She has a wonderful ability to talk to anyone and make them feel seen- and an enviable ability to not let life keep her down for too long. She’s disciplined, stubborn, and independent- yet unassuming and open. Aubrey was the firsthand witness of Nathaniel and Ginnie's love story in-the-making. You'll have to ask her for the details... Nick is an old soul. He's the type of guy you can say anything to and not get judged in return. He has an innate ability to make everyone around him feel at ease and known. Through Spring Break, abroad travels, FaceTimes, and happy hours, Nick has been there for Ginnie through thick and thin. He’s one of the few friends that Ginnie can talk to for hours and not get bored or tired. Not only is he a great conversationalist, he also loves to have fun. Nick is down for any adventure, outing, and activity. He’s the best type of friend you want to have- conversational, understanding, outgoing, fun, and adoring. Riley is an onion. On the outside, you see a cool, suave, “chill” California dude who always has his hair perfectly combed without one wrinkle on his shirt. But, the more time you spend with him, the more you appreciate how he prioritizes friendship, his diligent approach to school, work, and life, and his sense of humor that keeps you laughing for days. Riley is the type of friend who drops anything for the people he loves: even when he’s working 70-hour days, he makes time for the people he cares about (he’s also a smarty-pants accountant). The best thing about Riley? He’s a total softy once you get past the tough exterior. Where you’ll find him: Talking to the tall blond bartender. Fun fact: Ginnie had a huge crush on Riley freshman year of college (he’s single, ladies)

Kevin is a total and complete enigma. At first he appears...almost ditsy?! His fun-loving, silly, and giggling persona is inviting and humorous. He’s a delight to be around, but you don’t take him too seriously- at first. Your perspective will change once you have alone time with him and he asks you questions about your family, faith, childhood, politics, goals, dreams, aspirations, etc. When you get to know Kevin more fully, you realize that he’s much more than the fun guy at parties. He’s a delightfully sincere, genuine, and intentional friend who despises surface level conversations and always wants to learn more. Don’t underestimate Kevin Yang: he’ll surprise you every time.
