Train
Union Pacific / North Line
Staying in downtown Chicago is a great option for folks looking to tour around during the wedding weekend. There is a great and easy train line that runs directly from downtown Chicago to Lake Bluff- and drops you off 1.5 miles from the venue. Check out the Union Pacific North Line Metro schedule to see times (link above: map from OGILVE TRANSPORTATION CENTER to LAKE BLUFF). Be careful though, since most lines stop running after 11pm. Pro tip: Got to Lake Bluff a little early for the wedding? Swing by Lake Bluff Brewing Co. for a craft beer before heading over to the venue- only a 2 minute walk from the train station.
Flight
Airport Options
We recommend flying into either O'Hare International Airport (closest to downtown Chicago) or General Mitchell International Airport (Milwaukee). O'Hare is closet and about a 30 minute drive, while Milwaukee is about a 1 hour drive. Chicago Midway is on the south side of Chicago and quite a hike to the venue (depending on traffic, about 1.5 hours).
