It is recommended to arrive 30mins-1hour before the ceremony begins so that you can sign the guestbook, find your seat, take photos, and be seated before the wedding party walks down the aisle. If you are late and the ceremony is started, please do not seat yourself. Wait for the ceremony to end then head to the reception area.
If your invite does not specifically state that you are allotted a guest, please do not bring any additional people. We are charged by head, and any additional guests will run us about $120 per person. If you have concerns about bringing additional family/friends please talk to the bride directly.
Yes and no; Before the ceremony begins you are more than welcome to photos, videos, etc. After the ceremony has begun and the wedding party is walking down the aisle, please refrain from taking out your phone for pictures as the photographers will capture everything. We do not want your phones in the background of our wedding photos for the ceremony! During the reception you are more than welcome to photos and videos.
Yes, however since we are traveling we suggest sticking to the registry so that we do not have extra baggage to take home with us. We are only bringing a small car and do not have much room for additional gifts. If you’d like to bring a card or cash then please do. We are just trying to avoid overpacking big items on our trip home.
No, our ceremony and reception will both be held at the Sequoia Mansion in Placerville, CA. Right after the ceremony takes place outdoors, reception and cocktail hour take place indoors.
Please refer to the dress code guidelines contained in your invitation, we encourage spring colors! Absolutely no white.
For the first 30 mins of dancing we will keep the music as PG as possible for guests with children/guests who do not appreciate explicit music. The rest of the night we will play high tempo, explicit music. We understand if you leave before that part of the night begins and we do not wish to offend anybody. At the end of the day, this is an adult party and will be treated as such.
