What to Expect at a Sikh wedding? When at the Gurdwara, you must ensure that your head is covered throughout the entire time and shoes are removed. Guests will sit on the carpeted floor and will be expected to sit on the floor for at least 45 minutes. It is customary that the men and women will be sitting on their respected sides.
There will be no drug, tobacco, vaping, and alcohol consumption on the premises as this is a sacred and holy place.
