While we love all of your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evenings. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
We kindly request that only the guests listed on the invitation attend the events due to venue limitations and assigned seating. Thank you for understanding.
Because each of you are special to us, we respectfully ask that if you are feeling unwell or have tested positive for COVID-19, do NOT attend. The health and safety of everyone at our wedding is our first priority. Specifically the health of our 90yr old grandparents and other elders present. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
While we would love to have you present at all the events, we understand the time commitment it requires. Please join us at whichever events you can attend and please state so on the RSVP.
It is the start of the wedding weekend with 'Jaggo' translating to "Wake Up". A Jaggo is a time for celebration and dancing of the Bride and Grooms family. Check out this 1 min video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WePwRpTz-A
We would love to see all of our family and friends in Indian attire but we understand if you choose not to. Keep in mind that you will be seated on the carpeted floor for the ceremony. Opt for modest attire at this religious venue, avoiding plunging necklines and short dresses/ skirts, which may appear inappropriate. If uncertain about the length, consider adding leggings underneath your dress for a more suitable look. Men can wear suits or semi-formal attire. You will need to remove your shoes upon entering the Gurdwara. Please ensure that heads remain covered throughout the entire duration, and kindly bring a scarf for this purpose.
