Maid of Honor
Stella, my beautiful maid of honor and beloved sister, is truly my heart and soul. She's my feminine spirit wrapped into one incredible person. She’s my lifesaver, my book-loving bestie, and the keeper of every secret. She’s somehow the nicest and the sassiest little blonde bundle you’ll ever meet. She’s my lifelong travel partner, my beach queen, and my favorite food-tasting companion. I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side.
Best Man
What isn’t there to say about Connor? He’s been my closest friend; we’ve spent years side by side, facing similar challenges, yet somehow becoming very different people. Connor is steadfast and incredibly well-rounded, and is someone I can always count on for real advice. We know each other so well that we can answer each other’s phones and no one ever realizes they’re talking to the wrong brother. I cannot imagine this day without him standing beside me as my best man.
Bridesmaid
Rachel, better known to me by her nickname, Mirana is my healer in every sense of the word. She’s the one who introduced Evan and I, somehow remembering a brief interaction we had as strangers years before and recognizing me again in the wild. From that moment on, we’ve been inseparable, even from 840 miles apart. She’s my hippie tarot-and-oracle queen, the one who understands me spiritually better than anyone else. I’m endlessly grateful for the magic she’s brought into my life.
Groomsman
Grant is the only Davis patient enough to play Counter-Strike with me. He has always been the source of laughter in our family, and if you have ever seen our old home videos, you know exactly why. Beneath that humor is a level of determination and drive that I have always admired, and it is something that shows in everything he commits himself to. Watching him grow from my youngest brother into the man he is today has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life, and I am incredibly proud of the person he has become.
Bridesmaid
Nessa is my right-hand woman and my badass soulmate of a friend. We share the same dark, moody, yet brilliantly colorful personalities. She’s the fire to my ice and the yin to my yang. She’s the kind of friend who says “yes” to anything I dream up, no questions asked. She inspires me to be unapologetically myself, always. She’s my forever concert bestie, and if we had unlimited means, we’d be traveling the world as music-festival partners in crime. I’m so grateful to have her by my side.
Groomsman
Alex is my oldest friend, going back over 25 years. He is also the only friend bold enough to walk into my house without knocking, grab milk from my fridge, and pour it over a bowl of dry cereal he brought from his own house, like it is completely normal behavior. There is no doubt he has always had my back, and through similar interests, countless video game sessions, and more than a few questionable moments, we have managed to stay close no matter the distance. I am grateful to have him standing with me as part of our wedding party.
Bridesmaid
Tori is my fun-loving friend I can always count on. She’s the one I love escaping reality with. My crafting connoisseur, and the most creative soul I know. Whenever I’m stuck on an idea, she’s my go-to girl. She’s my shoulder to cry on and the friend who’s there for every good day and every hard one. She makes me feel truly seen, in a way that somehow recognizes my childhood self, even though she never knew me then. She’s pure love, my creative bestie, and a forever friend.
Groomsman
Daniel is another longtime friend of more than 25 years who I grew up with in Houston. He is the video game expert of the group and somehow manages to dominate any game he picks up. His kryptonite has always been math and Spanish, which I happily helped him survive in exchange for generous amounts of MMR boosting. Daniel is always a great time to be around, and these days I am especially grateful for his role as our resident mixologist and whiskey enthusiast. I am proud to have him standing with me as part of our wedding party.
Bridesmaid
Sonja is my first “second sister.” We actually met before I ever met Evan, when she was my TA in a college class. She’s known him even longer, and has been there from the very beginning of our relationship, supporting us with a quiet but steady loyalty. She loves the people closest to her deeply and shows up for them without hesitation. She’s someone I turn to for real perspective and practical advice, she is a strong woman I truly respect. I’m grateful to have her in our lives and to be welcoming her even more fully into my family.
Groomsman
Mike is my longtime Boy Scout buddy and my favorite person to go adventuring with. He is an expert in knots, patience, and convincing me to show up to weekly meetings. His persistence is the only reason I eventually earned my Eagle, and he deserves all of the credit. These days he continues that spirit of adventure by exploring the world and living abroad, including time in both Japan and Germany. Mike is a genuinely cheerful and positive person, an incredible husband, and a devoted father to two wonderful daughters. I am incredibly grateful to have him here with me to kick off this next adventure.
Bridesmaid
Heidi may be the newest addition to my circle, but she is anything but the least amazing. The best way to describe her is pure fun wrapped in so, so much love. The way she adores her family reminds me to slow down, be present, and cherish my own. She’s quickly become another sister to me. She’s incredibly well-traveled, endlessly generous, and always giving to the people around her, somehow keeping up with everyone’s lives even when hers is at its busiest. I’m so grateful to have her as part of our family and part of this special chapter.
Groomsman
Nathan is one of my closest friends from high school. We started out as band geeks together before graduating to an even nerdier adventure in an early college high school program, where we quickly became best friends. Nathan is one of the quieter people in my life, but he has always been someone who gives me a sense of security and space to open up. He is incredibly intelligent, quietly witty, and has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know. But do not be fooled. Despite sounding so grounded, Nathan definitely has his mischievous side (wink). It means a lot to have him standing with me as part of our wedding party.
Bridesmaid
Ellianna, my cousin, is deeply intuitive and has always felt things with a rare sense of depth. Even as kids, that was something I admired about her. She taught me early on the importance of building connections that are honest, vulnerable, and real. Our relationship is complex and irreplaceable, shaped by years of growth and unspoken understanding. She is an important part of my life, and I can’t imagine this moment without her beside me.
Groomsman
Austin might be one of my newest friends, but he quickly became one of the best. We bonded during COVID through a questionable trade: I would teach him how to DJ, and he would teach me how to do handstands. Since then we have DJed shows together, scarfed down amazing food, and bonded over the same music, books, and anime. These days he still serves as my remote nutritionist and fitness coach and reminds me to make time for the crafts and hobbies I love. Austin is incredibly charismatic, a great partner, and an inspiration. He is very much the Asta to my Yuno. If you see him at the wedding, ask him to show off with a handstand.
Bridesmaid
Brielle, my little cousin, has been a constant joy in my life. She was the first little girl I ever got to love, and despite our seven year age gap, watching her grow has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. I see so much of myself in her, from our shared humor to our quirks, and it’s been incredible to watch her become her own person. She’s changed me in ways she may never fully realize, teaching me patience, gentleness, and what it truly means to show up for someone. I can’t imagine this day, or any stage of life, without her by my side, just like when we were kids.
Groomsman
Ian is also pretty new to my life, but he has already become a great friend and source of support as we navigate Arnold family events together. It is nice to have another guy around with such a great head on his shoulders, and watching his relationship with Stella grow has been a real source of inspiration for me. Ian is humble and modest, despite his ability to put away food like nobody else, something that honestly feels more like a competitive sport than a meal. He is also my puzzle-solving friend, fishing buddy, a great storyteller with more than a few amazing experiences to share, and my Fortnite teammate who helps carry Sophie to victory. I am excited to see how things unfold as we move into this next chapter.
Officiant
Uncle Stevie, my godfather, has been present through every stage of my life. It means a great deal to me that he will be the one to spiritually marry Evan and I. He has seen both the good and the difficult moments, and has always offered guidance with clarity and steadiness. I can’t imagine anyone else standing with us and representing our union. He is thoughtful, deeply committed to his family, and an example of the kind of love and dedication I hope to bring into our marriage.
