Think elegant garden party meets Italian chic. We require guests to wear whites and light neutrals—crisp, airy, and refined. Linen, silk, and cotton are perfect choices. Men may opt for white or beige trousers with a white shirt or light jacket, while women are encouraged to wear white or cream dresses or flowy separates. This isn’t a strict “all-white” dress code—soft neutrals are absolutely welcome. The overall vibe is bright, joyful, and sophisticated, ideal for an outdoor celebration. We recommend bringing a light shawl, sweater, or blazer for cooler temperatures after sunset. Brown and taupe accessories pair beautifully with this palette. Comfortable shoes are encouraged, as some areas feature stone gravel walkways and grass. Guests are required to wear black-tie attire in rich, romantic jewel tones—emerald, sapphire, ruby, marigold, olive, plum, black, and bronze. These deep, moody hues reflect the warmth and drama of an autumn palette, creating a stunning, cohesive look against the Tuscan backdrop. We truly want you to embrace the fall energy—bold, vibrant, and expressive. Nothing is too much for this evening. Luxe fabrics such as silk, satin, velvet, and other elegant materials are encouraged to elevate the black-tie feel and capture the richness of the season. For men: a tuxedo or dark suit with a dress shirt and tie in any of the suggested hues for accents. For women: a floor-length gown or sophisticated dress in a dramatic jewel tone or fall-inspired shade. Don’t hesitate to lean into statement colors or textures—they photograph beautifully and set the tone for a magical Tuscan evening. Think captivating, refined, and beautifully bold as we celebrate under the Italian night sky. The closest major airport (Florence Airport) is approximately 35 minutes by car from the venue. Travel times may vary slightly depending on traffic and weather.
Yes, we strongly recommend renting a car. The Tuscan countryside is best accessed by car, and public transportation options are limited. Having your own vehicle will make it much easier to get around, explore the area, and travel to and from the venue at your convenience. When renting a car, make sure to reserve in advance, especially if you want a automatic transmission. Most booking platforms will default to a manual transmission, so ensure you are selecting the correct option when booking. Note: Legally, an International Drivers Permit is required to drive in Italy. Super simple and easy to get, AAA offers them via mail or at one of their offices. You may or may not be asked about it during your time in Italy.
Taxis can be arranged to and from Florence, and this can be a convenient option if you’re planning to stay within the city. However, please note that taxis may be more limited or expensive for local countryside travel outside Florence.
Absolutely — there is plenty of parking available at both the venue and the on-site lodging. No need to worry about finding a space.
We kindly ask that only the guests whose names are listed on the invitation attend. Since we’re hosting a destination wedding with limited space and carefully planned arrangements, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests unless a plus-one is specifically noted on your invite. Thank you so much for understanding!
We love your little ones! However due to limited space, we have decided to keep or wedding celebration an adults only event.
We’re asking for a soft RSVP by June 2026. This will help us get a general idea of how many people plan to attend. Think of this as an informal heads-up. There is no need to commit to the specifics just yet. In early 2027, you’ll receive a formal invitation with more details, and that will be when we kindly ask for your final RSVP.
Since we’re gathering in Italy in October 2027, here’s what you should keep in mind as a U.S. citizen traveler: You’ll need a valid U.S. passport to enter Italy. Please please please don't forget about this very important document! Make sure your passport will be valid for enough time beyond your stay. Some guidance suggests showing validity of at least three months beyond your intended departure from Europe. Good to apply now if your passport is expiring soon — waiting until closer to 2027 could risk delays. U.S. citizens do not need a visa for short tourist visits to Italy (under 90 days within a 180-day period) for a typical wedding trip. Keep a copy (digital + printed) of your passport’s info page in a separate place (just in case the original is lost or stolen). If you’re staying beyond the typical tourist allowance or doing something like working, you’d need additional documentation — but for our wedding trip the standard tourist allowance applies. Check closer to travel for any updates (health, customs, border-control changes) since rules may shift by October 2027.
If you have dietary restrictions, you will have the opportunity to indicate them when submitting your final RSVP. We will communicate all dietary needs to our caterers to ensure appropriate accommodations are made. Your comfort and enjoyment are important to us, and we will do our best to support any special requirements.
