Our Story
We met on Tinder in 2017 after two of Katie's friends were swiping on her behalf. They luckily swiped right on this nerdy guy from Chicago, Vincent! Katie took a chance, after some convincing, went on a date and is so glad she did!
Our first date was on August 17, 2017 at a jazz bar in Seattle. We say that our anniversary is September 21 (picked somewhat arbitrarily and partially for the Earth, Wind, and Fire song), and we are planning to keep that date as our marriage anniversary.
We have loved each other for the past 8 years and are so excited to continue our lives together. We've gone through many life events together - from graduate school, job changes, 7 moves to different apartments, losing loved ones, and so much more. Here's to many more years!
We look forward to hopefully taking a honeymoon in early 2026 (see our registry page to help us fund it!). We also hope to grow our family soon!
