Why aren't you doing a traditional wedding?

Answer

Weddings are EXPENSIVE, and we do not have the ability to fund that right now. Weddings can be very stressful, and we would rather not stress. We also have family and friends all across the country - including Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Illinois, Tennessee, and more. No matter the location, at least 75% of our guests would have to fly in. We therefore chose to do an intimate celebration that will allow us to honor our love in a way that best suits our lives. We hope that you will support us in this decision - if we were having a wedding, you'd be invited!
