Maid of Honor
We’ve been best friends since we met in the 11th grade. We quickly bonded over our love to be adventurous, ambitious, and of course, to laugh. She’s been my closest friend through the toughest times in my life, and my brightest. She has always proven to me that friendship is about thoughtfulness, not location. Although we live in different states now, our talks pick up like we’re back in 11th grade! One of my favorite memories was our road trip from CA to IL. It was a long drive, but touring Chicago together before she started veterinary school was awesome. I was also fortunate to witness Vince’s proposal to Jen; I couldn’t be happier for these two! He is perfect for Jen and I‘m so honored to be her Maid of Honor. Looking forward to many more years of adventures, laughs, and double-dates.
Best Man
Vince and I first met in law school. We were in the same big section. Probably the first thing I remember about him is how funny and goofy he is! Only he could come up with a constitutional law hypothetical that involved a river and a hot dog. As I got to know him better, I found out that one of the best things about Vince is that he is always willing to talk to you. In law school, you can always count on Vince hanging out in the pavilion talking with all the law students, asking how their days went, and talking about fantasy football or the next class. I know every time I have an issue (personal or law-related), I can always count on Vince to take time to listen and talk to me. I’m so happy for you and Jen! Congratulations and I look forward to the next chapter of your lives!

Congratulations Vince & Jenny! Ever since I met Vince, and the way my little sister acted around you, I knew it was special. I’m thankful that Jen has found someone truly remarkable; someone that she will forever cherish spending her time with. Vince, it meant so much that you asked for my blessing. I’m so honored to stand beside you as you and Jen move forward into this next chapter. Again, congratulations and many blessings to you both! Love you guys, Greg.

Jen is genuinely one of a kind and has the biggest heart. She is charismatic and has the craziest road rage I’ve ever seen! I’ll never forget meeting you during our first day of physics class at Cal Poly and thinking “oh my God this girl is crazy, but she’s pretty funny too!”. Even though we live thousands of miles away from each other now and go months without talking (due to busy vet school life), we can always reach out whenever we need support, and it would be as if the last time we spoke was just yesterday. Friends like her are not easy to come by and I am forever grateful to have built such a solid friendship! I am so happy for you and Vince and wish you both a life full of adventure, happiness and endless laughter! I love you, Jen. 💗! #co-dependentsforlife

Vince- Super excited for you and Jen on your Wedding Day! I’m happy that you found a woman who’s strong, funny and has a tremendous future ahead of her. You two deserve the best as I know a lot has happened to lead up to where you guys are now. From sharing high school classrooms to driving U Haul trucks through the tornadoes of Illinois, I’ve always appreciated the times we’ve had together- looking forward to what’s ahead. P.S. I still think that chandelier's haunted!

Jen and I have been roommates and friends since the start of veterinary school. Right away, we connected over our love for the beach, warm weather, dancing, and much dislike for the cold and aggressive drivers. I love to brag about how I was present the night that Vince and Jen met, but I am just glad to be witness to how their love and relationship has blossomed to what it is today.

Hello my name is Drew and I am one of Vince’s younger cousins. Ever since we were kids I always looked up to Vince and I aspired to follow in his footsteps. I did this by going to the same high school as him and eventually joining him in the Long Blue Line. We have also always had a similar passion and interest in sports. I always give him a hard time for becoming a Cubs fan, but I can forgive him. He is someone who I have always admired and will continue to look up to as an exceptional role model.

I met Jen at Cal Poly Pomona during the first week of O-Chem, along with our two other best friends, Ali and Yesenia. It immediately felt like our friendship made more sense than O-Chem ever would and we soon became “The Co-Dependents”. I loved studying together, watching Snickers (her mom’s cat) attack her when she wasn’t looking, swimming together and rambling about life, crazy nights out where she’d always wake up wide-eyed and bushy tailed while the rest of us (i.e. me) would wake up like dehydrated raisins, and being in vet school while still managing to make time for each other regardless of distance. I can’t express how happy I am for Jen; how honored I am to stand alongside her on this special day. Jen, you deserve all the happiness in the world and I absolutely love you to bits!

I am so thankful that Vince texted me three years ago during his apartment search. We became friends after taking multiple classes together, but that 3L year as roommates was especially memorable: Thanksgiving in Cincinnati, late nights studying or out on Green Street, and watching plenty of football. A true friendship is one that can survive living together during the truly stressful time that is law school. I was also there when Vince came home and told me all about this great girl he met named Jen. I’m excited to see them tie the knot!

Jen and I met in 2017, the year we started veterinary school. I responded to a post on our school Facebook page about needing roommates and it was the best decision I made! When we first started talking on messenger she mentioned running cross country and track in college and I was a swimmer so I knew we were going to get along well. I couldn't imagine going through vet school without Jen. She and I know how to make each other laugh when needed or be a great listening ear. I know she's always there for me and I for her. I remember the first time Jen brought Vince over to the house and he seemed like a nice guy. The more I've gotten to know him the more I realize how perfect they are together. I cannot wait for their wedding day!

Thank goodness for the alphabetized anatomy groups placing Jen and I together, because it led me to a girl I can't imagine going the rest of life without knowing. Seriously, without veterinary school how would this girl from the south and Jen the Cali girl have ever met?! Jen is one of my favorite people because she knows the importance of a good talk with a good glass of wine. I feel so thankful to have watched her and Vince's relationship from the very beginning; you two are my favorite study brunch dates! I'm so grateful to have you as my person, here's to many more long talks in the car parked outside one of our houses, my love.

"Vince! Vince! Vince!," resonates throughout the St. Xavier High School cafeteria. When I heard those chants, I knew someone I could trust was walking through those doors. Vince has always been a kind, reliable and trustworthy friend. It has been amazing witnessing Vince grow from a man driving a van, to a man with the plan. "Vince! Vince! Vince!," will soon be heard as he's walking down the aisle and I'm honored to be on his and Jen's side.

I met Jen in undergrad at Cal Poly Pomona and we spent a lot of time studying together and getting to know each other. She is such an amazing friend and so much fun to be around. We got into vet school the same year and a few weeks after we started I took a road trip up to Illinois to visit her. On our first night out at the first bar we visited, she met Vince. I am so glad I got to visit her as it was very hard moving so far away from our friends and family to start. But I knew I had her full support and she had mine. I am so proud to call her my friend, Jen is always there no matter what and I know I can call her anytime I need her. I can’t wait to watch her marry the love her life and I am so happy I could be there that first night to meet him!

The story of Vince and Jack is the story of love and friendship itself. The pair met on a bar crawl before the first day of law school in August 2015. Vince's chiseled biceps and pectorals bulged through his shirt, like a caged lion trying to be set free, and his dirty blonde hair glinted in the afternoon sun. Jack's meek figure and slovenly appearance blended into the background like a wallflower. An unlikely pair; but, a pair nonetheless. Suddenly, the two found each other within the same circle of people discussing college football, which was a subject that Jack knew nothing about but was happy to entertain if it meant he could become Vince's friend, and shook hands. Neither men knew then, but in that moment, their worlds would forever change. Jack also introduced Vince and Jen.
