We met at a local bar and grill called Murphy’s in Champaign, Illinois. Jen was celebrating her 23rd birthday and the end of the first week of veterinary school while Vince was celebrating the end of his last first week of law school. Now, we can’t wait to celebrate the start of our lives together with all of you!

We took a trip to southern California in January 2020 to visit some of Jen's family and friends. On our last full day, we explored a nature preserve in Palos Verde with Jen’s best friends, Sareena and Chris. Upon reaching Pelican Cove, a beautiful cliff formation overlooking the Pacific Ocean (the same place Jen’s parents were married), Vince got down on one knee and the rest is history!
