Federal Hill Farm has been in the Widmyer family for almost 100 years and has been continually farmed the entire time. For over 75 years, it was a dairy farm with 150 cows milked twice
daily. Now the farm produces corn and soybeans. Year after year, Ron Widmyer and his brother have been recognized by the National Corn Growers Association for the highest yields in the state of West Virginia. 

Federal Hill farmhouse dates back to 1851 and is listed as a Jefferson  County Historic Landmark. It has been the site of many family weddings:
