Question

Where in Mexico is the resort located?

Answer

The resort is in the Riveria Maya, and is about 1 hour from Cancún.

Question

Is there a dress code/theme?

Answer

We are not asking that our guests adhere to any specific color scheme or theme. We kindly invite you to dress in polished, elegant styles with a nod to the beach setting. Gentlemen may forgo jackets and ties, but long pants, slacks, or khakis are requested. Ladies are encouraged to choose cocktail dresses or dressy separates in flowing fabrics suited to the seaside. Opt for footwear that is comfortable and graceful for a celebration on the sand.

Question

What should I bring?

Answer

We recommend bringing the following items with you! 1. An insulated water cup to be filled with ice and water. Water is fairly accessible at the resort, but the cups are pretty small. We recommend keeping water on hand so that you are able to remain hydrated while you're having fun! 2. Loads of sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. Protect your eyes and skin please! 3. Snorkel masks - These can be purchased at the resort, but are typically more expensive. The beaches have many rocky areas where a variety of fish can be observed. 4. Water shoes - Some of the beaches are sandy, but a few are pretty rocky and can be a bit slick. 5. Cash $$$ - The resort is all-inclusive, but we have found that tipping the staff a few dollars can significantly improve your experience!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your love and presence are all we ask for. No gifts are expected—but if you’d like to contribute, we have set up a honeymoon fund that can be found on our registry page.
