Hello!
You might be asking yourself, what is a PRE-Wedding Reception? Why not just do it AFTER the wedding? What do you do at a party like this? What should we wear?
These are all great questions! Justin starts school this fall for his MBA so we wanted to get all of the festivities out before he’s drowning in studies.
We are having an intimate wedding Ceremony in Florida in September, but we wanted to party with all our friends and family in Michigan!
This is going to be the reception portion of our wedding! We will do all the traditional things like first dance, mother son dance, father daughter dance, toasts, eating, drinking, dancing, and great socializing!
Wear whatever makes you comfortable! Most of us will be wearing summer dresses or shorts. It’s a barn style reception so I would recommend boat shoes, tennis shoes, wedges, or sandals. Heels might not make it.
