Irene has been waiting for this moment for almost her entire life. She’s been best friends with the bride since 2001 and met the groom when they were floor mates freshman year at UCLA. She knew Vikesh was the one during sophomore year when Bella trusted Vikesh enough to watch over Irene in the 8-feet section of the pool.

Friends since 6th grade, Vikesh and Alex have been through everything together. They have been classmates, teammates, bandmates, and best mates. In fact the only kind of mate they can’t claim together is the kind he shares with Bella. Well that and inmate... Alex is so proud of the man Vikesh has become, and he is so happy to be a part of Vikesh and Bella’s life together."

Sonia Xu is the honorary godchild of Vikesh "Pastry" Shrestha and Bella "Borbilocks" Hamilton. Molded from their likes, Sonia secured the position as an esteemed member of their wedding party.
Omar Yehia

Fondly remembering the good times from middle school to high school, Omar pictures flying off trampolines, exquisite delicacies from Pizza Hut, and delightful conversations regarding video gaming. Recalling these memories, Omar pictures a person being there at the best of times. And that person is Vikesh. He thinks. It could be someone else. But he's pretty sure it's Vikesh. No no, wrong memories. Wait, nope he was right the first time. Vikesh that's the guy.
Arezou Akbarpour

Arezou met Bella in their junior year at UCLA through Irene. In return for all the times that Irene would swipe Bella into the dining halls, Bella would graciously cook us homemade meals. Happy to say despite the lack of swipes and homemade meals, Arezou and Bella stayed friends by bonding over their work grievances, red wine, and a healthy amount of cynicism. Now Vikesh is also stuck with Arezou, but fortunately, they are both Lakers fans which is a bond tighter than friendship.
Ben Quachtran

Ben and Vikesh first met during orientation day at UCLA, having been suite-mates in Rieber Vista for two nights (also, by pure chance, Vikesh was first-year roommates with Ben’s orientation roommate, Pedro). Bonding through music and basketball, as well as being post-grad roommates for two years, their friendship quickly grew. Before Vikesh and Bella started dating, Ben remembers the two of them studying together in the Sproul Cove lounge as friends (or so they thought) during their sophomore year, giving some perspective to the depth of their relationship. Recalling stories is known to be difficult while thinking in third person, so one example should suffice. In any case, Ben is happy for their marriage and grateful to be a part of their celebration.
Sarah Huie

Sarah considers Bella one of her oldest and dearest friends, meeting her back in Mrs. Dea’s 7th Grade Core class. As they headed into high school, they ruled the tennis courts not just as Varsity Tennis Team Co-Captains, but also as doubles partners. While Sarah can always count on Bella to hit her “angelic” volleys and send “positive protons” between points, she also knows that she can always count on Bella to have her back and is so thankful for their friendship. Sarah is honored to be a part of Bella and Vikesh’s special day and can not wait to see what life has in store for the two!
Daniel Mariano

Daniel first met Vikesh at John Muir Middle School in Burbank. They first bonded over their shared struggles of coursework and shared love of video games. That bond has continued over the years and even over long distance through Daniel’s masters program and Vikesh now entering medical school. Hundreds of miles away are still not able to stop their dominance in online games and becoming champions.

Katelyn met both the bride and groom in her junior year at UCLA. On their senior year trip to Big Bear, Vikesh was so patient with Bella (and the rest of newbies lol) struggling down the mountain, Katelyn knew that they were perfect for each other!
Zachary Solomon

Zach has known Vikesh for 15 years, ever since they had lockers next to each other in middle school. Vikesh was quickly adopted into the group of friends because of his shared interest in all things nerdy. Zach immediately noticed a similar trend when he first met Bella. He knew she and Vikesh were meant for each other.
Carina Hampp

Bella was the very first person Carina met at UCLA. Even though Bella was scared of Carina at first, a friendship quickly developed when they realized they shared a love for dancing and cheesy k-dramas. Their relationship was solidified as they suffered through the UCLA neuroscience program together and became roommates for their last two years of college.

Marko and Vikesh met on the mean streets of John Muir Middle School and have been thick as thieves ever since. After meeting Bella on New Years last year, he knew right away that Vikesh was in good hands. And as a fellow UCLA alum, he's happy to see a couple of happy Bruins! He couldn't be happier for the both of them and their marriage, and wishes them all the best!
