Piccolo Buco by Cooper's Hawk
Kristen and Sean are wine club members of Cooper's Hawk. Piccolo Buco is the Italian branch of Cooper's Hawk. Sean and Kristen love their food (and wine!) This is also where they hosted the family dinner after the proposal.
Fermilab
Fermilab is Kristen's place of work. In addition to being a National Laboratory, Fermi lab is open to the public from Dusk to Dawn. They have several walking trails and you can stop and say hi to their herd of Bison! If you're interested in touring they offer free public tours on the 3rd Monday of every month (give or take). Just make sure you have a Real ID with you to get onto the property!
Batavia
Batavia is the town that Kristen and Sean bought their house at. They love walking into town and checking out the local businesses, restaurants, and breweries! If you want to visit, some of their favorite spots are Riverside Pub & Grill, Sturdy Shelter Brewing, and The GOAT.
Harrah's Joliet - A Caesars Rewards Destination
The couple is planning to head to the casino once reception festivities conclude at The Haley Mansion.
Portillo's Joliet
For those looking for a quick bite to eat Portillo's is a top fast food chain in the Chicago area. Best known for their Hot Dogs (Chicago Style included), they also serve burgers and other fast food classics!
Culver’s
Culver's is another Chicago area classic fast food chain. Sean also worked at Culvers for his first job. They are best known for their Burgers, Wisconson Cheese Curds and their Custard.
Rec Haus
This is a game bar not far from Kristen and Sean's house! The couple discovered rec haus on a random Wednesday evening...It turned out Wednesdays are BINGO night. Kristen and Sean going here for a chill evening of drinks and games.
Noon Whistle Brewing
Noon Whistle Brewing is where the welcome hangout will happen on Saturday. Since moving to Chicago, one of the Couple's favorite activities is trying out local breweries.
