Our wedding will take place in beautiful Somerset West, about 40 minutes from Cape Town’s city centre. When booking accommodation, think about the experience you’d love: stay near the venue for a relaxed, easy wedding day, or base yourself in Cape Town to soak up the city’s energy, explore Table Mountain, the V&A Waterfront, Bo-Kaap, Camps Bay, and incredible food and wine spots.
October is a popular travel month, so we recommend starting the visa process,booking accommodation, buses and/or flights and as soon as possible.
Uber is widely available and reliable in both the city and Somerset West, making it easy to get around without a car. For those up for a scenic drive down to CPT? Great if you can share the wheel!
