Flight
We recommend flying into Bismarck Municipal Airport (BIS). Bismarck offers the most flight options and airlines, which typically means easier connections and more flexibility when booking. From Bismarck, Medora is about a 2–2.5 hour scenic drive west on I-94. If Bismarck doesn’t work with your travel plans, you can also fly into: Dickinson Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport (DIK) – the closest airport to Medora (about 35–40 minutes away), with limited flight options. Williston Basin International Airport (XWA) – about 2–2.5 hours from Medora, with additional regional flight availability.
