FAQs

The Wedding Website of Victoria Douglas and William Younie
Question

Is there cocktail hour-what do I do between ceremony and reception?

Answer

We are keeping it traditional and doing our first look as I walk down the aisle. This means many pictures will be taken between ceremony and reception. If you are immediate family please remain at the ceremony location so family pictures can be taken otherwise feel free to head to reception area around 5 for drinks prior to our arrival. Thank you for your understanding as we share some time together prior to the celebration!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We’re keeping it casual, but dressy, no need for suits and ball gowns! Think western summer evening in the Badlands. Flowy dresses, boots if you’d like, lightweight layers, natural color tones, whatever feels comfortable and a little bit elevated. The celebration will be mostly outdoors, so plan for weather, open air, and uneven ground.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would love to hear from you on or before April 1st as we need to make seating and meal arrangements. Please RSVP through this website and make sure to have the hotel booked by April 12.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We're registered through Zola, and you can find it on this website. More than anything, we’re excited to celebrate with you, your presence truly means the most to us. If you feel inclined to give a gift, we will include a small registry, but we're especially grateful for contributions toward our honeymoon fund as we begin this next chapter.
