Question

When do I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by 2-29-2024. That way we can have an accurate headcount for the caterer.

Question

What type of food is going to be served at the wedding?

Answer

We are going to be having Hanks Grille and Catering! We are going to have pulled pork with sauces (yes, a Carolina sauce is one of them), Southwestern Chicken, and 3 tasty sides! https://www.hanksgrilleandcatering.com/

Question

What about those that have a food allergy?

Answer

We got you covered! We want everyone to have a good time, and a good meal. So, we actually have a gluten free/vegan option of Roasted Vegetable and Tofu Jambalaya that will be served to our guests upon request. Also, one of our sides is roasted vegetables.

Question

Do you have any other restaurants in the area that you would suggest trying during our visit?

Answer

Thunderbird Café is a really good breakfast place. If you are craving Italian, down the street from Thunderbird Café is Romano's Italian Bistro, and the place that is catering our wedding, Hanks Grille and Catering is directly across the street.

Question

I want to bring my child/spouse/partner but don't see them on the list when I go to RSVP as attending?

Answer

Please reach out to us and we can update it so that you can select them and add them as going!

Question

Do you have a wedding hashtag, and if you do, what is it?

Answer

We do! #trottingtothebarricks

Question

Is this going to be an indoor our outdoor wedding?

Answer

The goal is outdoor! Obviously weather permitting... The "average" temperature at the end of March for this area is around 50 degrees, and with it being daylight savings time, the sun will be setting later, so hopefully one will only need a light jacket. The reception is indoors, but there is a bar area that is under a covered patio, that has heaters for the cooler nights!

Question

How far is the wedding site from the reception area?

Answer

A very short drive! Upon arrival, you will see a sign that will direct you where to park for the wedding. Once the wedding has concluded, you will then get back in your car and then move down to the barn.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding, would be dressy casual as we want everyone to be comfortable, but still look nice at our wedding! Where the wedding is being held at, if it rains a lot before the wedding, I would avoid wearing high heels as you have to walk about 50-75 feet to the area where the wedding is going to be held.

Question

Can I take photos during the wedding?

Answer

I prefer not since not only have I hired an amazing photographer, I am also having the entire wedding video-recorded by the same team for us to have forever to cherish this day that we will never forget!!

Question

Will there be a cocktail hour between the wedding and reception?

Answer

Yes! We will also have appetizers provided as well!

Question

Will there be an cash/open bar?

Answer

We will be providing the alcohol for the wedding and it will be served by a bartender provided by our caterer. We just have one request... Drink Responsibly!

Question

Rehearsal Dinner?

Answer

That's still in progress on securing all the information... Check back soon!!!
