Food is relatively inexpensive in India and the venues have been vetted to suit western travellers.
*Please do not travel with excessive gold (preferably you should wear whatever you bring within you on the plane as customs may require you to pay tax) *India is still a fairly conservative country, so please consider this as part of your outfit selection for tourism. In particular, for the Taj Mahal, no shorts or sleeveless tops
If you arrive earlier to Delhi or staying later after the tour ends, it is recommended that you stay in the area of Aerocity as it is close to Delhi airport and has access to all well known hotel chains.
