Our Story

First comes the Navy, then comes marriage!

Here's the story! We met during our time stationed in Sigonella — young, adventurous, and blissfully unaware that our friends were absolutely right about us all along. Between Beer Olympics (very serious business), late-night quesadillas, and sun-soaked beach days, we built a friendship full of laughter and just enough tension for everyone to tease us relentlessly. Of course, we denied everything… and then politely went on living our separate lives. Even when life in the Navy took us different directions, we never really lost touch. Years later, when Victoria left the Navy and moved back home — and as fate (and the Navy) would have it — Scorpio was stationed just 45 minutes away, life decided it was time to stop playing around. It started innocently enough: ice cream and people-watching in a Target parking lot. Very romantic, obviously. But somehow that casual catch-up turned into the Fresno Fair, a Fresno State football game, an elite escape room victory, and a VIP showing of a Julia Roberts rom-com (because nothing says “this is serious” like reclining movie seats). After that, we were inseparable. Weekends quickly filled up with concerts, BBQs by the pool, Dodger games, Cowboys vs. Saints debates, and even a Warriors game. We built a life in the in-between — the ordinary days that somehow felt extraordinary because we were together. Then came the opportunities… and the challenges. Hello, long distance and frequent-flier miles. It hasn’t always been easy, but through every airport goodbye and every long drive, God has given us the strength, patience, and love to not just endure the distance — but to grow stronger because of it. As a team, we’ve conquered countless flights, split holidays with family, chased our individual goals, and still chosen each other every single time. And while we’ll always appreciate the American Airlines crew and our quality time at DFW, we are more than ready for our next chapter — one in the same time zone. We are over the moon to finally say goodbye to long distance after our big day, and even more excited to celebrate this new beginning surrounded by the people who have loved, supported, and cheered us on from the very start. From the bottom of our hearts — we love you all.
