Maid of Honor
Jerrica is Victoria’s cousin, but in every way that matters, she’s her sister. Growing up just across the street meant they were inseparable — acting out Harry Potter scenes, geeking out over Star Wars, and later diving deep into astrology (thanks entirely to Jerrica). Their bond stayed strong through their San Francisco years, and even after Jerrica moved across the country in 2020, nothing changed. Victoria missed her so much she flew to Georgia twice, hitting every tourist spot from the Coca‑Cola Museum to the Harry Potter Exhibition. They also traveled to Sedona together, where they somehow got kicked out of their Airbnb — a core‑memory they'll laugh about well into their 80s. Jerrica returned the love by flying to San Antonio for Victoria’s 35th birthday, and the two even tackled Disney World together. Alongside all the adventures, they built a lifestyle blog, a podcast, and a lifetime’s worth of memories. Jerrica is the one person who can make Victoria laugh until her ribs hurt, the person she tells everything to, her ultimate hype woman, and the definition of unconditional love.
Matron of Honor
Vivian is Victoria’s oldest friend — since 2001 — which means she’s been around for every awkward phase, questionable outfit, and dramatic life decision. They survived middle school, high school, and college together, then somehow got even closer as adults through shared hobbies like yoga, pole dancing, and traveling to new cities together. They also send each other cat videos every single day, which is a love language all on its own. Vivian is one of the most reliable people in Victoria’s life — someone who always shows up, always gives real quality time (Victoria’s #1 love language), and always brings a sense of calm and understanding. She’s also the friend who helped Victoria manifest the kind of partner she always dreamed of, offering encouragement, perspective, and unwavering belief along the way. Most recently, Vivian, her husband, and Victoria traveled to Japan and Malaysia — a trip so meaningful it even reshaped the way Victoria viewed marriage. After 20+ years of friendship, growth, and adventures, Vivian was the obvious choice for Matron of Honor.
Bridesmaid
Lisa is Victoria’s cousin, but she has always been more like her little sister — the one she grew up wanting to protect, support, and love through every season of life. Living across the street meant they were inseparable from day one, and that closeness only grew as they got older. Together, they’ve shared countless adventures: concerts and festivals like Coachella, seeing RÜFÜS DU SOL in LA, and ringing in the New Year together with Kaskade multiple times. They’ve taken yearly snow trips, gone camping, and made Disneyland practically a second home — especially for Lisa’s birthday or those Christmas Eve drives just to wake up at the parks on Christmas Day. More recently, Victoria had the joy of being by Lisa’s side during some of life’s most meaningful milestones — including a cruise where she witnessed Lisa’s proposal, and attending her wedding two years ago. Experiencing Lisa’s love story so closely gave Victoria renewed hope and belief in true, lasting love. Through every stage of life, Lisa has been a constant source of joy, laughter, and sister‑level loyalty. And even though she and Jerrica are the actual sisters, Victoria has always been the honorary third — and that will never change.
Bridesmaid
Melody and Victoria go all the way back to middle school — though their friendship started off hilariously rocky. Their different crews kept showing up with the same Sanrio backpacks (a serious offense in middle‑school fashion law). By high school, everything changed. Victoria discovered that Mel was actually one of the kindest, most loyal people she’d ever meet. Melody became the friend who always knew exactly what to say — the one who could turn a bad day around with the right words and remind Victoria of her worth when she needed it most. For someone whose love language is words of affirmation, Mel’s encouragement and genuine praise meant everything. Their bond only deepened over the years. Victoria stood by Melody’s side as a bridesmaid in her 2018 wedding, an experience that quietly shaped what she hoped for her own someday. Together, they’ve shared unforgettable adventures: an iconic Cancún bachelorette, a chaotic Portland trip with matching piercings, intense Uno battles in a tiny cabin, and a “casual” hike that somehow turned into nine miles. Through it all, Mel has been a sister, a confidante, and a constant source of love and support. From Sanrio backpack rivals to forever family.
Bridesmaid
Victoria met Genelle at UC Davis Orientation when she noticed a girl wearing Jordans and immediately thought, “She looks cool — I’m talking to her.” In the 2010s, they became housemates, classmates, and full‑time concert buddies — seeing everyone from Chris Brown to Kendrick Lamar to Bruno Mars, usually thanks to Genelle’s supernatural ability to win or snag sold‑out tickets. They bonded over Friends, survived nearly every class together, and later worked side‑by‑side at Genentech, where their tradition was decorating each other’s desks with over‑the‑top birthday shrines to their celebrity crushes: Chris Brown for Genelle, Zayn from One Direction for Victoria. Through every chapter, Genelle has been Victoria’s steady rock — reliable, thoughtful, funny, and endlessly supportive. She’s the calm in the chaos, the friend who always shows up, and someone Victoria couldn’t imagine this day without.
Bridesmaid
Kassie and Victoria met through Hui Tarava in 2019, the Tahitian dance group they dance for, and their friendship took off after Kassie slid into Victoria’s DMs about going to a Hui Tarava outing. Since then, they’ve danced in competitions, performed everywhere together, and even roomed together during their unforgettable 2022 trip to Tahiti — where they became obsessed with espresso martinis. Dance bonded them through some tough chapters, and along the way, Kassie became Victoria’s emotional support system — especially during moments that almost turned into a full‑blown menty b. Kassie always knew exactly how to make her laugh, lighten the moment, and snap her right out of it when she needed it most. Together, they’ve shared countless Disneyland trips and even survived a 5‑day, 6‑park Disney World/Universal Studios marathon that tested (and ultimately proved) their friendship. Kassie was also the very first friend to meet Sutch — and she approved immediately.
Best Man
I met Az at university in Sheffield and, famously, we didn’t hit it off at first as we were both part of a big friendship group. That quickly changed when we realised we were both from Manchester and lived just 15 minutes from each other. Our friendship grew through our shared love of Manchester and our mutual obsession with the biggest football club in the world — Manchester United. At university, we became inseparable, spending time together both in Sheffield and back home in Manchester. After graduating in 2005, we saw each other several times a week — going to the gym, watching football, spending time with family, and making our weekly trip to our favourite Pakistani café, where for over 20 years we’ve ordered the exact same meal: a Large Lamb Karahi, two naan breads, fries, and mint and hot sauce. In 2016, Aza married the amazing Saira, and they now have two wonderful children, Aadam and Aaliya. I’m incredibly lucky that Saira has also become one of my closest friends. Even when work took me between Manchester and London, and later to the US in 2020, we always stayed close. From Christmas hibernations filled with TV, takeout and Cadbury Mini Rolls, to their unforgettable visit to see me in 2023, travelling down the coast together, our friendship has never changed. Az has supported me through every stage of life and is loved by my entire family. I couldn’t imagine anyone more suited to being my best man — because Azaman truly is the best man.
Groomsman
Introducing Mohith — my sister’s husband, my brother-in-law, and my close friend. I’ve known Mo for over 10 years, and he has been a true blessing to our family from day one. Mo is a man of few words, but when he speaks, they always matter. He has an enormous heart and a natural generosity that defines who he is. Mo also has a legendary love for food — particularly chicken biryani. While I love rice, Mo takes it to another level. If he could, he would happily eat chicken biryani for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, always at maximum spice level, and probably still add extra hot sauce for good measure. Beyond that, Mo is simply one of the kindest people you will ever meet. He is an incredible father, husband, son, and brother. I can honestly say I admire him deeply and truly look up to him. He has been there for me many times, offering guidance, support, and practical solutions whenever I’ve needed them. Mo is someone I can always rely on. One of the things I love most about our bond is how we both encourage his son, my nephew Julian, to push his limits through sport. From Mo, Julian gets the basketball speeches, and from me, he gets the football speeches. Between us, we like to think he gets the best of both worlds — constant encouragement, a little healthy pressure, and a lot of love and support. I feel incredibly lucky to call Mo family and to have him standing by my side as one of my groomsmen.
Groomsman
Some friendships just happen—and then they last a lifetime. I met Kailesh at university while we both worked part-time in a Post Office call center. Sitting opposite each other, we spent more time chatting than working. From the start, he was the cool, nerdy, incredibly intelligent guy we quickly nicknamed “The Professor”—a name that’s stuck ever since. We bonded over sci-fi, and not long after, realized he was living around the corner. The following year, we ended up living together, with two houses full of close friends side by side. Over time, our friendship grew stronger, through Formula 1, football (even if he supports the wrong team), movies and TV shows. Even after university took us to our respective hometowns, we stayed close—and that never changed. Kailesh has always been a constant in my life—the person I can always turn to, especially for geeking out over sci-fi, fantasy, and Star Wars. I didn’t think it was possible to meet someone as obsessed as him… until I met Victoria. During lockdowns, despite the eight-hour time difference, we were in sync—watching the same shows and discussing over whatsapp daily for nearly two years. Life has since brought him more joy. Kailesh married Priyanka and now has a beautiful son, Krish. Though she can’t make it to the wedding, we celebrate with her in spirit. I feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have known kailesh for the past 20 years, and even more so to have him by my side on my wedding day.
