Sting Ray City is a neat place on the east side of the island where there are tons of sting rays. They are harmless and the guides will show you how to interact with them and even hold them. This is a great option for a half day trip.
This is a great way to experience a part of Antigua on Horseback. The lady who owns it is from the UK, super sweet and willing to take a million pictures for you. She takes you along the beach and through some of the fields that their growing fruit overlooking the ocean, as well as down onto the beach, all the while giving you a little history of the island. Wear tennis shoes and jeans, you can also bring extra clothes to change into!
Antigua is an Island of 365 beaches and many places to explore. Driving around the island is easy and safe. We typically like to rent an open air jeep for a day and go explore some of the beaches and restaurants offsite. They will deliver and pick up the Jeep from the hotel. Just a fun way to get out and see the island one day.
While on the more expensive side, this is an excursion you'll never forget. The helicopter will ride along the coast of Antigua giving you a great view of the island and then head over to Montserrat Island - a mostly abandoned island since a Volcano erupted decades ago. You will see the remains of buildings covered in ash and intact just as they were left. Truly an unforgettable experience.
If a small boat and a jet ski had a baby, this would be it. They are super easy to drive and a lot of fun. The tour leaves from nearby Jolly Harbour and is a guided tour (although each person or couple gets their own "boat" to drive). The guide will lead everyone out to a reef, where they will tie the "boats" together and everyone can snorkel.
While Cocobay Resort is sandwiched between two of the top beaches on the island (Freyers and Valley Church), there are 365 beaches in total, and many of them are stunners worth checking out. The link below highlights many of these, we recommend renting a jeep and checking a couple of them out! Some of our favorites include: Dickenson Bay, Half Moon Bay, Rendezvous Beach (only accesible from 30 min hike), and Darkwood Beach (walkable from Cocobay).

Recommended by our wedding planner--this is a local distillery that specializes in making gin. Tours are booked by appointment only and offered daily on weekday afternoons, for up to 8 people. The tour last about an hour and they take cash only
Beautifully redone area with a few shops, restaurants and hotels. Worth going to see but I wouldn't spend a ton of time here unless your into the history of the island as a naval base. If you do make it over here though, check out a restaurant called Boom--best calamari we've ever had or Catherine’s Cafe, which has amazing atmosphere and live music.
