Brand new to LA with exactly one friend, Tori went looking for a church to meet people. She went to a church-held outing at a local pub and in walked a tall, blonde cute guy, "Ooo, he's an option," she thought. The two chatted it up and over the next few weeks she thought, "Ooo, he's a really good option." For about 6 months Tori tried to convince herself that he wasn't all that and she didn't like him while he sent her ALL THE MIXED SIGNALS. Eventually, after weekly MASH viewing and drinking and watching every Mission Impossible, they both admitted they were already dating. And the rest is history!
Two years later, we took our first camping trip to the Grand Canyon. While sitting on Shoshone Point at sunset, Tori mentioned that all these families camping around us made it fun to day dream about future family vacations. "Actually," said Marshal, rummaging through the day pack, "You inspired me with future family vacations." He took out a small box, held up the PERFECT RING, and asked, "Will you marry me?" "Seriously?!" "Yes." "Yes! Oh my god!" The other campers applauded. It was lovey. Then Marshal slipped on the gravel and almost ruined everything. Then it went back to being lovely.
We're so excited to say, "I forever do!" with our family and friends in our favorite place (so far). We'll see you there!
