What is your COVID contingency plan?

Answer

We plan to get married on August 21, 2021, no matter what. While we have a vision for our wedding that we hope to see play out, at the end of the day, the health and safety of everyone is of the highest priority. This means, if necessary, we may choose to do a small in-person ceremony (with virtual attendance available) and postpone the reception for a later date. We are thrilled COVID vaccines are available and that many of our friends and family have been able to access them. We sincerely hope that as many of our friends and family who feel comfortable getting the vaccine choose to receive one when given the chance. While we hope that we will be able to see everyone's smiling faces without masks, we will request and provide them if required by the health department. Our greatest wish is to celebrate our wedding safely and responsibly. We all must do our part to ensure that is exactly what happens. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you've received a plus one with your invitation then of course. If you haven't and you've got a new special person in your life you'd like to include, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate them. The guest list accounts for a certain number of people to help us maintain social distancing best practices.

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony will be inside the sanctuary at Grace Lutheran Church. The reception will be outside at Bunker Hills Regional Park, with a pavilion for shelter and shade.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

August in Minnesota is usually humid with the average high between 80° and 90°.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

While we will be dressed formally, we want our guests to be comfortable. In keeping with the "Up" theme of the wedding, we suggest Garden Attire: sundresses; floral prints; suits, shirts, and slacks in lighter hues; fun hats and fascinators.

What is parking like? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

There are large parking lots at each location, with plenty of space for all of our guests to park. We will not be providing transportation as we know guests will be staying in different locations.

Will there be any vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

We are working to accommodate as many dietary needs as possible. Victoria knows what it is like to attend an event and only have a salad available. Please indicate with your RSVP what dietary restrictions you would like us to keep in mind.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

July 24th, 2021. At this time we have closed the online RSVPs. If you need to RSVP or change your response, please contact us!

Should I RSVP even if I am unable to attend or only attend virtually?

Answer

We wish you could make it and are sure our big day won't be the same without you! We ask that you please still RSVP for the events you've been invited to, even if the answer is no. This is will save us the time of needing to track down people to make sure things didn't get lost in the mail.

What should I do if plans change after I've already RSVPd?

Answer

We understand plans change on the dime, especially during this time, so we ask that you let us know as soon as you are able.

Answer

Yes! We are registered at Crate and Barrel, Target, and Amazon. You can also find our registries under the "Registry" tab on the website.
