The Hudson Valley is one of our favorite places to go to escape NYC, especially in the shoulder season! Below are a few great spots in the area we'd recommend.

Meander through an 18th-century landscape and discover a breathtaking display of more than 7,000 illuminated jack-o’ lanterns—all designed and hand-carved on site by a team of artisans. Advanced tickets are required.

The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze: Hudson Valley

Pick your own apples and pumpkins, get lost in a corn maze, enjoy a hayride, and try some beer or hard cider! About a 30 minute drive from Tarrytown. Reservations required.

Outhouse Orchards

An open-air museum located in New Windsor, New York. It contains the largest collection of contemporary outdoor sculptures in the United States. If you have a car and time, we highly recommend visiting.

Storm King Art Center

If you're looking to stay active or are open to trying a new experience, we'd highly recommend booking a one-hour rock climbing class at Movement Valhalla. Reservations required.

Art Cafe is a cozy coffee shop and Israeli cafe that Victoria & Frederick often frequent when visiting Victoria's parents. Perfect for brunch or dinner, with live music every night starting at 6pm.

Both a gourmet market and full-service restaurant, this Mediterranean restaurant resides on Tarrytown's charming Main Street. We recommend coming here for brunch or lunch.
