Whoever said weddings are a great place to meet people was absolutely correct! They met at fellow groomsman and bridesmaid Jeremy and Julia Simonovich's wedding! Dillon was told by Jeremy that there was someone they wanted him to meet at the wedding, but wouldn't tell him who. He walked in and immediately noticed Victoria and thought to himself, "I hope it's her". As the night went on, they danced the night away without speaking a word to each other. During the dancing, Dillon busted out his signature move... The Worm. Victoria saw this move and thought, "Dang, that guy looks like fun". The night ended, and they still hadn't spoken to each other. Fast forward a few days, Dillon was talking to a mutual friend about the wedding and mentioned "this cute blonde" he had seen, and it just so happened that this friend knew exactly who he was talking about. She got them in contact with each other, and the rest is history!

After a few weeks of long Snapchats, and text conversations, Victoria and Dillon met for their first date. They met at Chagrin River Park with his dog, Rhea. Dillon took Victoria to his favorite spot to bring Rhea, where they took their first picture together! During this walk, they couldn't stop talking (shocking, right?). They eventually realized it was getting dark and didn't want the date to end. Dillon suggested his favorite ice cream place, CP's Cooler. They enjoyed delicious ice cream and continued talking until they closed. Shockingly enough, that wasn't enough talking for them. They continued their conversation outside their cars for about an hour before sharing their first kiss. The kicker here is, the moment they kissed, they were interrupted by a bright spotlight. One of the employees had called the police and said there was a couple outside the ice cream shop that was doing inappropriate things... The police officer was cool and knew there was nothing inappropriate going on. They all laughed together and sent them on their way.

On Victoria's family vacation, things started out a little rocky right from the airport. Victoria told Stefani that she had to go to the bathroom and for her not to go without her. What did Stefani do? She took the first opportunity to go to the bathroom, AKA go through TSA without Victoria knowing. Fast forward to TSA, Dillon always lets Victoria go first, but this time, what does Dillon do? He goes through TSA first and walks right through to Stefani. To say Victoria was not happy about this would be an understatement. Little did she know, Dillon had given the engagement ring to Stefani to get through TSA without Victoria knowing. The cruise they went on happened to fall on their anniversary, and Dillon had planned a special excursion for him and Victoria... 4 days into it. They went to a beach club in the Dominican Republic, and Dillon had scoped out the perfect spot to propose. When they got there, Dillon rushed them to the spot he had envisioned and began unfolding his plan. He set them up in matching outfits and his tripod ready, told Victoria to "get into frame," all while he had actually started recording a video. He got down on one knee as Victoria was distracted by the blue water and waited for her to turn around. Those who know Victoria know she can be semi-oblivious, so he had to tell her to turn around. Dillon said some beautiful words, they both blacked out and don't remember what they said, yet here we are today!
