The Arboretum is just a gorgeous place to visit for nature lovers/botany enthusiasts. Japanese gardens, long tails, mountain views, etc.

Have fun in Chinatown. Do not forget to visit Uwajimaya. It is an asian grocery store the size of a Walmart and it is AMAZING!
A small, but very beautiful, museum next to a gorgeous catholic church. It is also the best thing that any museum can be.... FREE
Watch people throw fish, stick gum on the gum wall, get scared by one of the statues, buy some cheap flowers for your love, grab some snack from DeLaurentis, etc.
Walk by the ocean, enjoy the public art. We really like echo.

Discovery Park is just a delightful forest that has miraculously not been turned into apartment buildings. It's very PNW.

They built a park over an interstate in the middle of downtown and then they made the botany grads at UW take care of all the plants. Why? Because they could!
