When trying to decide on your maid of honor, there are many aspects to consider. It is an extremely important decision, as this person will by your side the entire day. They have to be caring enough to handle you and your nerves, yet strong enough to let someone know when they are stepping out of place! I'm fortunate enough that I did not have to think very long when deciding who would be my maid of honor. My sweet sister is the perfect person for the job. She is caring, loving, helpful, talented, and strong willed. With her by my side, I can take on anything. It is safe to say with Tiffany as my maid of honor, I will not have to worry about a thing!

Have you ever had that friend that you can just roll around on the floor laughing with for hours only to look back and wonder what you were even laughing at to begin with? Well, that is Chloe for me. For about 15 years we have stayed close friends through middle school, high school, college, and my PhD! Always there to help me with anything creative, offer advice, and make me laugh when I need it most, Chloe has been just a truly amazing friend to me. It would not be my wedding if she was not standing up at the alter and tearing it up on the dance floor (even though we can't dance) with me. She is caring, sweet, and level headed. Just what a girl needs on her wedding day!

Tori and I met through our PhD program. She has been a lab mate and dear friend of mine for the past 4 years. Anyone would tell you that getting your PhD is one of the most challenging times in your life. Having a support system is crucial to your success and let's be honest, your survival. Tori has been an integral part of that support system for me. She is one of the most supportive, kind, caring, and smart people I know. She has continually cheered me on through every step of my PhD, has offered me countless of hours of advice, and has genuinely made one of the most difficult experiences something I wouldn't change for the world. I know without a doubt that Tori will be there to support me and keep a positive environment for me throughout the entire wedding day, just what a girl needs!

Diana is Alex's sweet cousin, who is more like a little sister. I know how much they have loved each other through the years, so I was extremely nervous for our first meeting! However, Diana was so kind and made me feel so accepted. I am excited to have her by my side on our wedding day and I know that she will help to make the day go as smoothly as it possibly can.

It has been 15 or so years since I have known and been loved by this precious soul. Elizabeth is the person I go to when I need to vent, cry, laugh, scream. She has delicately and lovingly handled me at just about every emotion a person can feel. I would do anything for Liz and it is safe to say she would do the same for me. I can't imagine my wedding day without having this girl by my side.
