This is another of the options we have chosen. It is the closest to the reception in Frankfort, and conveniently close to the Tinley Park 80th Train Station, for those who wish to venture into the City. To secure the block rate you must reserve by May 19, 2024. There are two ways to reserve rooms: 1) Call the hotel directly @ 708-532-9300 and mention the “Lowczyk & Hoffman Wedding” to obtain the discounted pricing. 2) Your group code is “071924LOW”, and can be used to book reservations online. If guests need additional days, they will have to call the hotel directly to book their rooms, or add on these nights. We will offer the discounted rate for any additional nights they need. Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD)

Chicago O’Hare (ORD) is a massive airport, with many International Arrivals from across the world (but unfortunately nothing directly from South Africa.)

Chicago Midway (MDW) is a great alternative to O'Hare if you are flying domestically, or even if you are connecting internationally at a different airport such as Newark (EWR), Dulles (IAD), Boston (BOS), etc.

Southwest Airlines

Southwest is a great lower cost airline that is hubbed out of Midway Airport (several other airlines also fly there) and places you closer to both Chicago and the Southside, where Tinley Park is located. On a side note, Victoria’s childhood home was just a mile from Midway Airport.

Chicago Transit Authority Orange Line

Midway has a CTA Orange Line train (https://www.transitchicago.com/orangeline/) that will take you to downtown Chicago, but not to Tinley Park. If you are flying into O'Hare, the Blue Line (https://www.transitchicago.com/blueline/) will also take you directly to downtown. Rock Island Metra

If you do plan to take a train to Tinley Park from downtown, make your way to La Salle Street Station (https://maps.app.goo.gl/vF1Vp8bTEPLXB1Ph6) (both the Orange & Blue lines stop there) and take the Rock Island MTA train (https://metra.com/train-lines/RI), making sure to get off at Tinley Park 80th Ave (not Tinley Park station) if you want to get closest to the block and/or discount code hotels. You will still need a 5 minute Uber or Lyft ride to get to the hotels, but they're only a 30 min walk if your luggage has wheels. Be sure to buy your MTA ticket before boarding or you may be charged an extra fee for paying on board.
