Best Man
Strong · Loving · Forgiving If I learned anything from my mom, it would be this: cherish your brother, protect each other, and most importantly, love one another. I will be the first to admit that when my brother and I were younger, our relationship was less than ideal. We butted heads like bulls. But during the past few years, McKinley and I have grown closer together than ever before, largely because McKinley is one of the most forgiving individuals on the planet. He has consistently looked past my flaws and extended the hand of grace. He has always loved me, even when I didn't deserve it. There are not enough words to describe how much I love my brother. McKinley is a blessing from God, a living proof that God's love can change lives.
Maid of Honor
Creative · Passionate · Dreamer Vanessa is my sister. I would like to point out that no, we are not twins, she is 5 yrs younger. As a little girl, I remember praying for a sibling, and I'll forever look back on the day Vanessa came into the world as one of the best days of my life. Since we were little, I knew Vanessa would be my Maid of Honor. We even promised each other this at ages 5 and 10. I am so beyond grateful that we get to live out this promise. Vanessa is truly one of the greatest lights and blessings in my life. From our sister vacations to Disney to our theatrical performances, Vanessa has become my best friend. I cherish the memories and bond we share with all my heart. God truly blessed me with the best sister and I can't wait to have her stand next to me on my big day.
Best Man
Jolly · Compassionate · Kind Nolan was my first roommate at Hillsdale. He is the Mole to my Rat (Wind in the Willows), the Cricket to my Pinocchio, the Jonathan to my David. In other words, I consider Nolan to be closer than a friend and more like a brother. We don't always agree on everything. We have had fights. But nevertheless, Nolan has always been there for me when I have needed help, guidance, and light to illuminate the narrow path. We have laughed together, cried together, and loved life together. Nolan is one of the best men I know. He is Godly, virtuous, upright, and a rock of kindness. I wouldn't trade him for the world. God has made me rich in friendship by bringing Nolan into my life.

Beautiful · Inspiring · Radiant I have no idea what I’d do without Haley's amazing friendship. She’s a blessing from God and reflects the beauty behind strength, perseverance, and radiant joy! Haley and I met the first day of school in the 6th grade. From the days of One Direction to helping plan each other's proposals, we’ve been through it all. She even flew up to Michigan, twice, to stay with me when I need a friend the most. We laugh together, cry together, and challenge each other. I’m so blessed that she’s been my assistant wedding planner and was the one to ask if I was saying “Yes to The Dress”! She a light to this world and her actions reflect the love of Christ to anyone that comes in her path. Haley’s apart of the family, a forever friend, and a sister in my heart.

Loyal · Honest · Caring Andrew and I became good friends about halfway through college. We started getting regular meals together, and eventually Victoria joined as well. These moments were oftentimes the best part of my day. We quickly discovered that we could talk about anything, from religion to school drama to life after college. We challenged each other's beliefs and thereby sharpened each other's characters in the process. But on a more personal note, Andrew remains one of my best friends because he, like all of the best people in my life, consistently makes me a better man with every conversation. I can truly say that my love for Victoria has deepened as a result of Andrew's guidance, insight, and gentle prodding. He truly is an "old soul," wiser beyond his years.

Motivated · Courageous · Steadfast This is my Soul Sister. Dayhana and I met the first day of middle school in 2nd period math class and have been best friends ever since. If you are looking for us, we are probably somewhere laughing on a beach and drinking Tropical Smoothie. We share a love for dancing and travel, and no matter how much time we have to spend apart, we always pick up right where we left off. Dayhana is the reason behind why I learned Spanish. ( I wanted to be able to understand what everyone was saying when her family from Bolivia came to town.) Dayhana is my other half, mind-reader, and tanning partner. I'm is so grateful that God blessed me with a beautiful friend who has become more like a sister.

Hilarious · Dynamic · Energetic Don't let his blazing fast personality fool you. Sam is a powerhouse when it comes to whatever he is passionate about. Whether it be the piano or complex moral quandaries, Sam can fly through difficult tasks before you can even blink. As I have gotten to know Sam better this past year, I also discovered Sam's softer side. He has a huge heart and a great laugh. We have shared many jokes, pranks (sorry Nolan!), and laughs together. I can honestly say that Sam is one of the funniest guys I know. He always brings joy and a smile to my face every time we are together. Although he is likened to the Roadrunner, Sam is a loyal friend that can always cheer me up anytime, anywhere.

Driven · Compassionate · Committed All of my first memories have Caroline in them. Born only 10 months apart, we have basically known each other since birth. We've played Barbies, directed and starred in our own home-video productions, and traveled to exotic, fairytale lands in park next to my house. We've dabbled in baking, made LOTS of messes, rescued lost dogs, and have traveled hundreds of miles by bicycles. From being teammates to accidentally destroying my mom's expensive vacuum by cleaning up Oreo crumbs and water, I know she always has me back. We are the Beastie from the Eastie and Bestie from the Westie. Caroline will always have a special place in my heart. I am so grateful God gave me the opportunity to grown up with such an amazing and wonderful friend!

Inspiring · Courageous · Thoughtful Josiah is one of the smartest people I know. If I am being honest, the first time I met Josiah (during a study abroad trip to England), I was intimidated, maybe even a little jealous of his ability to recall vast swathes of information. But as I got to know Josiah better, whether by helping him study for Bible quizzes or gauging his thoughts on various issues, I realized that I had found someone I could look up to. Not only is Josiah intelligent, but he's a man with a big brain and a big heart. Yeah, I still sometimes find myself getting schooled on a topic I thought I knew something about, but the experience is never defeating. Josiah is gifted, and it is a privilege to call him a close friend, someone I can always go to when I need help or guidance.

Outgoing · Dynamic · Resilient Savannah and I met on a mission trip to the Bahamas in July of 2017; we have been inseparable ever since. She was one of the first of my friends to meet Zach, as we FaceTimed him a lot during the trip (Zach and I weren't dating at the time). And she definitely played a role in helping bring us together- mostly by pointing out that we flirted too much to be friends. While up at college, Savannah was a rock for me. She called me weekly for check-ins and would drop everything to be there for me when things went wrong. She is one of my best cheerleaders and is a genuine, gorgeous young woman. Savannah has also become like Zach's adopted little sister. I am so grateful to have such a beautiful and incredible friend standing by my side on my wedding day.

Joyful • Loving • Passionate I've known Makenzie since she was a baby. We, quite literally, grew up together. Whenever our families would get together, the only thing I wanted to do was play with my cousin. Whether it was tag, bean-bag toss, or Wii sports, Makenzie and I, along with my brother McKinley, would compete for hours on end. Usually she would win, much to McKinley's annoyance, but that was the beauty of it. Today, Makenzie continues to mature into a budding young woman. This - in light of the troubles she has faced along with her commitment to family, Christ, and her friends - routinely sparks wonder within me. I am so fortunate to call her family, and I look forward to the many years ahead. If they can take any nods from the past, I can only imagine what times we will have.
