Spencer Butte
We've hiked Spencer Butte many times together throughout our years together. Eugene's most popular hike, the trail spans 1.7 miles of mild-to-moderate hiking. Completing the hike, you'll observe expansive views of the Willamette Valley as well as the Cascade Mountains (the mountains surrounding Christinas' hometown) and the Coastal Range.
Mount Pisgah
Although we will be getting married at the pavilion at Mount Pisgah, we encourage our guests to explore the trails and make the most of this beautiful location. A moderate 1-1.5 mile hike leads through the forest and meadows to the iconic tree swing - perfect for fresh air and breathtaking views of the Willamette Valley
Eugene Saturday Market
Experience Eugene's vibrant local culture at the Saturday Market. This lively open-air market, which first originated in the 70's, runs Saturdays from 10-4 and features a wide variety of local artisans selling jewelry, artwork, and unique gifts. You'll also discover delicious food vendors and live music.
Sunriver Brewing Co. - Oakway Pub
Great American Beer Festival award winner with the most tap handles of any Sunriver location, including limited releases you won’t find anywhere else. Full food menu, good beer. Victor and Christina worked together as servers at Sunriver. Over the years, their coworkers have become like family, turning every shift into a genuinely enjoyable experience.
Osteria DOP
In our opinion, one of the best Italian options in town. Handmade pasta, wood-fired pizza. Walk-in only, and on weekends, the line starts at 4:30 pm before they open at 5. Get there early and thank us later.
Cafe Soriah
A beloved Eugene staple, Cafe Soriah offers Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with a Pacific Northwest touch in a cozy, romantic setting. Perfect for a relaxed, yet elevated night out.
Oregon Ducks vs. Boise State — Sept 5
The Ducks open their season the night before our wedding. So yes, you have full permission (encouraged, even) to spend Saturday in a stadium with 55,000 people in green and yellow. Plan to fly in on Friday.
Alton Baker Park
Eugene’s favorite backyard. Walking trails, river views, kayak rentals, and zero agenda. Perfect Saturday morning vibe before an afternoon of getting ready to celebrate with us.
Willamette Valley Wineries
Labor Day weekend in wine country is especially beautiful, with many wineries hosting live music and special events. Choose between Sweet Cheeks Winery, Silvan Ridge, King Estate or all three!
McKenzie River
Some of Victor's favorite local fishing spots are along this river. The McKenzie is about 45 minutes east of Eugene and absolutely worth it. White-water rafting is available for guests who aspire to turn this wedding weekend into an adventure trip.
PublicHouse
A food hall, beer hall, and whiskey bar all inside a converted church in downtown Springfield. Men’s Journal called it one of the coolest places in America to drink craft beer. Something for everyone, great for groups, and a genuinely fun scene.
Sweet Life Patisserie
Eugene’s most beloved bakery, open since 1999 and started by two sisters making wedding cakes out of their house. Handmade everything, open until 10 pm daily, and rated the #2 restaurant in all of Eugene. Go for the tiramisu slice. Or the cheesecake. Honestly, just go and figure it out when you get there.
