How far is Eureka Springs from St Charles, Missouri

Answer

The ride is about 5 hours. You will go through some small towns where the speed limit changes several times, use caution and watch your speed in small towns on your drive down. Enjoy the view, it's a nice drive! Keep in mind that most GPS products will not work in the mountains in Eureka Springs so if you are driving in at night you might want to have a map when you reach the actual downtown area. Most maps offer several travel options when driving in from St Louis, if you want all major highway stay on HWY 62 if you want back roads take the scenic route you get offered by your GPS.

Why are glitter and fireworks not allowed at the Crescent Hotel?

Answer

The Crescent Hotel is a historic site, it is very old and delicate. Glitter is very hard to clean up and can compromise the beauty of the hotel. Fireworks, sparklers and all other fire type items are very dangerous to the hotel which is a very old historic site. These two items are not permitted at the hotel.

What makes Terry so wonderful?

He shovels the snow off of the grass in the winter so that the robins can get to the worms and the rabbits can get grass. He overstuffs the food in the bird feeder so that the birds get enough seed in the winter, this allows the squirrel to get plenty of food from the squirrel proof bird feeder. He also sprinkles some seed on the ground for all of his wildlife friends to share.

What time do guest need to be in the Crystal Ballroom (reception room)?

You need to be in the Crystal Ballroom by 7:00 pm. Grab a drink and find your seat salads are served at 7:15 pm.

They just added a vending machine which is in a room off of the lobby. They do not offer a traditional room service but you can order pizza from the Sky Bar which is located in the hotel.

Is there a dress code?

There's not an official dress code. This is an opportunity to dress up or wear anything you want. There will be formal dresses and suits along with casual wear. You chose how you want to dress. Please do not wear anything with glitter (sequence is ok but glitter is not permitted in the hotel).

Saturdays Reception Dinner Menu: Dinner Salad with Champagne Dressing 4oz Filet & a 4oz serving of Chicken Boursin (Crescent Hotel Signature Dish) Gouda Mashed Potatoes Green Beans (lightly buttered) Rolls & Butter If you have a special dietary need please let me know 30 days prior to the wedding. No nuts will be served on any of the food items.

The Crescent Hotel has a great Sunday Brunch, you might want to fill your belly up before heading home.

Answer

The Crescent Hotel offers a service for drop off and pick up until 11pm if you are staying at the hotel. There are also other resources for ride they do have Uber (just a few) and taxis. 479-253-6699 is one of the services as well as Limo Service 479-981-1249 They have a big white old noisy limo they can pick you up in-if it is still running, it was a blast from the past). They have very strict drinking laws and I suggest calling a service for a ride (Plus the parking sucks because the town is built on the side of a mountain).
