Vivi’s and Marco’s story

August 19,2023-September 11,2025 the start of our new story

Vivi’s POV: At the time, I was focused on staying single. I had goals, I was determined, but then a very handsome, tall Mexican man crossed my path at a rest stop, and I got distracted lol. I didn’t talk to him then, but he definitely caught my eye. Marco’s POV: I also wasn’t looking for a relationship. Not for any specific reason,it just wasn’t on my radar. That same rest stop where Vivi noticed me? I was there with my brother Blaine. We weren’t fans of the long Chick-fil-A line (where Vivi and her friends were), so we went to Burger King instead. My mind was on food lol. Vivi’s POV: Later that day, Jaylon had a gathering at one of the Bethel family lounges. Marco was there too. Marco’s POV: That’s when I finally noticed Vivi, from across the room. She immediately caught my eye with that warm, beautiful smile. Vivi’s POV: I was nervous because the guy I had seen earlier had asked me to dance. He seemed nervous too, asking a lot of questions, but it was adorable. That’s when he found out I’d lived in North Carolina for eight months. That was the only time he asked me to dance that day. Marco’s POV: I was on a mission to ask that beautiful girl from across the room to dance. But once I got close to her, I felt like I forgot how to act calm. All I remember is her beautiful eyes looking into mine while I talked about whatever popped into my nervous brain lol. Vivi’s POV: I was away in California for about two weeks, but Marco sent me a Lapse request and texted me. It was short, but I found it interesting. He talked about how amazing North Carolina is—and he’s not wrong :) Marco’s POV: I was staring at my phone, realizing I’d found that same beautiful girl again. I had to send the request,my curiosity was through the roof. But the moment I texted her, my nervous side came back lol. Vivi’s POV: We kept seeing each other at gatherings, game nights, hangouts. Each time, we had genuine conversations and adorable moments. A real friendship started growing. Marco’s POV: We’d run into each other at different events. But I was often too nervous to talk to her, and sometimes even ignored her. I’d beat myself up about it later because all I wanted was to talk to her. Eventually, I built up the courage to be more open with her, and a real friendship formed. Vivi’s POV: When I realized I had feelings for Marco, I tried to suppress them. I was afraid of losing him as a friend. I trusted him a lot and always valued his opinion. Marco’s POV: I was also unsure if she felt the same. Our bond was unique, and I kept wondering if maybe, just maybe, she was feeling something too. Vivi’s POV: When we finally saw each other again, I was excited. But Marco was so nervous he barely said a few words and then ignored me. I was sure he didn’t like me. Marco’s POV: Another gathering, this time in Tony’s room. I knew Vivi would be there, and I planned to finally talk to her. But my nerves took over again. I only said a few words and then pulled back. I was nervous because I knew what I wanted to do. Vivi’s POV: On the drive home, I prayed to Jehovah for clarity, was Marco feeling the same way? I cried because my feelings were real. That night, Jehovah answered. Marco texted me, apologized, and explained his point of view. He also confessed his feelings. We agreed to talk later that week in person. I was soooo happppy!!! March 21,2024 he asked me to be his girlfriend April 19, 2025 I asked her to marry me
