Why did you choose Dreams Sapphire Resort & Spa?

Answer

We fell in love with the clear turquoise waters at the Riviera Maya during our cruise on Jan. 2022. Location was key, we didn't want our guests to be sitting for a long drive after their flight to reach the resort but we also wanted a beach that wasn't over-crowded like Cancun. After some extensive research, comparing wedding packages, venues, and resort nightly rates, we decided on Dreams Sapphire, which has amazing reviews too! Can we stay at different hotel?

Answer

You are welcomed to book at another location but the Dreams Sapphire Resort does impose a $100 day pass fee to access the facility on the day of the wedding. You will also have to arrange your own transportation to and from the resort.

Are kids welcomed?

Answer

Yes! The resort has the Explorer's Club day care where you can check-in your child and they enjoy activities such as arts and crafts, camping beach adventure, and splash pad. Please let us know how many kids will be in attendance so we can accommodate for the dinner reception.

What if I have a Special Room Request?

If you need a crib, 1st floor suite, or have other special requests please print or make a copy of the provided form (copy paste LINK below to access form) and email us and/or Steve so that Steve can make appropriate accommodations. Is there airport transportation to and from the resort?

Answer

The resort does not have a free airport shuttle. To avoid taxi price gauging, we recommend booking ahead from these 3 reliable transfer options. What are the COVID protocols?

Answer

We encourage our guests to be fully vaccinated and tested negative of the Covid antigen before their travel but it is not mandatory. As of Dec. 2021, CDC U.S. travel requires all travelers regardless of vaccination status, to be tested for the coronavirus within one day of departure. Covid testing is not required for Mexicans. The resort offers same-day on-site Covid antigen testing for $35. At the moment, the resort is also offering free covid testing for U.S. guests staying in a Preferred Suite for a minimum of 3 nights. If the U.S. gov't drops this travel requirement, the test will no longer be offered or needed. At the resort you can expect frequently cleaned and sanitized facilities, hand sanitizer stations, staff wearing masks, and contactless options such as menus on your phone. Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
