Maid of Honor
Although we are cousins, we are more like sisters. Growing up, I had my own bedroom in Amber's house until Matthew came along (thanks Matt!). Together, we have created memories I will treasure forever, such as trips to Montauk, college adventures & countless hangouts. One time I tried to test out our relationship by jumping off our grandma's deck into Amber's arms (shes strong right? she would never let me fall right?) WRONG! I will forever have a dent in my leg but will never forget that night. Our relationship has evolved from being too cool for one another (those childhood days) to inseparable (finally adults). I cannot imagine anyone else being my maid of honor. Look out for Amber on the day of the wedding as she will likely be the one who is at the bar asking for more tequila shots!
Best Man
Sam is like the little brother I never had, he is not so little anymore but he used to be. From back in the day when we would play XBox 360 and Gamecube in his basement while eating Dino nuggets to present day where we crush Bud Lights like the alpha males we are, we have always been there for each other. Even though he always takes Lana's side, I love the guy to death. He is truly my best friend, hero and now my Best Man. He is always willing to do anything and doesn't care that it's just him, Lana and I hanging out on the couch on a Saturday night. I can't say enough good things about Sam, he just doesn't have a bad bone in his body.
Bridesmaid
Courtney and I met in high school and we instantly became close. She is one of the most caring people I have ever met. From our Six Flags trips, yes she is afraid of heights but loves King Da Ka, to our dinner dates to our fun nights out on the dancefloor, Courtney always knows how to have a good time. Look out for Courtney's crazy moves on the night of the wedding (she likes to whip her hair back and forth) - she may even end up dating one of the band members or security guards!
Groomsman
Mike might be the only person who can go toe-to-toe with me on sports knowledge. I think we have been arguing about and playing sports together since we were in diapers. The love for the game of baseball has always been the focal point for us, whether it be playing school ball or playing Saints during the summer to debating who the Cardinals and Mets should try to trade for. One of my oldest and truest friends I have had my entire life and a person who knows me through and through.
Bridesmaid
Samantha is my oldest friend. We have our mothers to thank as they set up a carpool system in pre-school where our friendship started. As only children, we found each other more as sisters. I can count on Samantha for anything! Our friendship has evolved from arguing who was older and who would be the yellow or pink Power Ranger, to spending major milestones and experiences together. Samantha, I love you! Look out for Samantha at the wedding as she will be the one with a clipboard and emergency kit bossing everyone around to save my sanity!
Groomsman
Words really can't describe how happy I am that Katie found John and vice versa. Not because they are a perfect match together, but because I was able to get another life friend out of it, even though he's a Patriots fan. I don't know when it happened, but a little while back John and I became best friends, it was basically like the movie Step Brothers. John has fit right in with our crazy family and is truly one of the most genuine people you will ever meet.
Bridesmaid
Michelle and I met in middle school. Between then and now, our friendship has remained strong even we were at different stages of life. Whether it is vacationing in the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, New Orleans, Las Vegas or sitting on a couch (or phone) catching up on life, Michelle is a lifelong friend who I cannot imagine living without. Look out for Michelle on the day of the wedding as she will be the one with the contagious laugh and questionable dance moves, she may even start spinning you around if you start to dance with her.
Groomsman
Kevin and I went to college together and I think that's where we became lifelong friends, even though we've known each other forever. Kevin is the kind of friend who will listen to the problems you have in life and never judge, but be there for you in the times you need him. I've been through it all with Kevin, from him breaking his jaw, many Albany nights we can't remember, the list goes on. Our friendship is a brotherhood and one I couldn't do without.
Bridesmaid
Dakota and I met after I graduated college. I distinctly remember her first time visiting me in my first Long Beach apartment and asking me if I slept on the couch because she did not realize the apartment had a bedroom, that is when I knew I was going to love her. She is one of the sweetest and most authentic people I have ever met and I am so happy our friendship has blossomed into what it is today. From countless Long Beach days that turned into epic nights to visiting her in New Orleans, Dakota always radiates a good time. Look out for Dakota on the day of the wedding as she will not only being having the best of time but complimenting and spreading her sunshine to everyone she encounters!
Groomsman
Lana is an only child but to me it always seemed like Matthew was her brother. I don't know how he put up with Lana before I came along, he is definitely brave for dealing with her for so long. It has never felt like we are 10 years apart in age. We have become closer with each passing family party where most of the females are trying to tell us what to do. I am so grateful for Matthew and everything he means to Lana's ,and now mine, family.
Bridesmaid
K and L - even the alphabet cannot separate us (we thought this was a cool slogan in high school). Katie was my 16th candle at my Sweet 16 and now will be alongside me as my bridesmaid when I get married 11 years later. Through everything, Katie has been one of the most dependent and supportive friends. From long distance trips to helping each other with real-life decisions, such as jobs and whether or not to keep Chris around (haha, good thing she said yes!), Katie will forever be one of my best friends. Look out for Katie at the wedding as she will be the one trying to get the perfect Instagram, spending time whitening everyone's teeth, but hers will be perfect and your face may end up looking weird - because well, priorities.
Groomsman
Andrew and I became close only a couple of years ago, but ever since then we have basically been the testosterone dominant people in the friend group. We spend a lot of time together, mostly making fun of people and talking about how much we hate fantasy football and gambling, even though we can never stop. I swear if you read our text message conversations you would never be able to tell if we were being sarcastic or serious. He's another one of my life friends and I am extremely glad that he is.
Bridesmaid
Alex and I met through Michelle and became close friends after college. I am so happy to have Alex in my life as she is an honest and genuine friend - and we all know friends like this are rare to find! From dinner dates to our weekly catch-up/venting sessions to our special event celebrations to our NYC escapades, there is no better partner in crime than Alex. Look out for Alex at the wedding as she will be the quiet one in the beginning but the life of the party shortly thereafter!
Groomsman
Marco is basically the coolest person in our family. He ran around naked for most of his younger life, which thinking back I respect that move a lot, but has now blossomed, no pun intended, into a successful young adult. His burning passion for horticulture is something that is rare to find in people and something I am envious of. He makes me proud of all the accomplishments he has achieved at such a young age and I am so happy he will be up there with me on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Kate is Chris' twin sister. Kate and I met in middle school, but little did we know that over a decade later we would become sisters! Although Kate lives in Vermont, we have been lucky to spend so much time together from camping trips to beach days to many family dinners. I am so honored and excited to finally get a sister, especially someone as unique and loving as her. Look out for Kate at the wedding as she will be the one tearing it up on the dance floor!
Groomsman
I met Jimmie when we were in 1st period computer science class, I copied all of his work, little did we know we would become best friends after that. When we were in 11th grade we thought we couldn't be touched so we named each other the 'Dons of Huntington'. It was always a party at my house one night and Jimmie's house the next and vice versa. We have shared a lot of long nights together that turned into mornings. We were always the ones down for anything and I don't know what life would have been without him.
Bridesmaid
Rachel is Chris' oldest sister. The first time Rachel and I met, she gave me the biggest hug and screamed FINALLY! I knew we were going to get along great. Rachel has always treated me as part of the family and that is something I have appreciated so much. Over the past few years, we may or may not have consumed a few 100 bottles of wine and ended up dancing and laughing the night away, bet you can't wait to see our dance moves, but really they are very bad. Going from an only child to having two sisters is so exciting for me, especially when I get amazing people like Rachel and Kate. Look out for Rachel at the wedding, I mean seriously look out for her, because if you do not, you may miss her. She is a grade-A Irish Exiter!
Groomsman
I think Sean and I like to argue like little school girls sometimes because we know 30 minutes later we will act like nothing happened, that's how close we are. We didn't start to become real friends until the end of high school but since then it's been like we are brothers. We were always scheming on a plan of what to do and always just down to do whatever, even when the idea probably wasn't the greatest. I talk to Sean every single day, some days I don't know why, but I wouldn't want it any other way.
