Parents of the Bride
Rachel’s parents first met in 1993. They married on February 4, 1995. Julie enjoys cooking and has a passion for gardening. Jeff enjoys bowling, watching movies and his salt-water aquarium. They share Russell, a 4 year old Aussiedoodle. They both travel as much as they can and the beach is their favorite spot. They are so thrilled to welcome Justin into the family and gain another son!
Glenda and Don Vetrovsky
Parents of the Groom
Justin’s parents first met in 1972. Don and Glenda were only 14 and 13 years old at the time. They married on October 24, 1981. That’s more than 40 years together! Don enjoys projects, working in his yard and having fires in the summertime. Glenda enjoys gardening and decorating their home for every season. They both enjoy spending time with their friends and family. They are so excited to welcome Rachel into the family.
Jenna McGee
Maid of Honor
Jenna and Rachel met in 2012 as freshmen on the Mentor High School bowling team. For four years, they shared many memorable experiences together. Jenna is an Ohio State alumni and she loves to travel, do puzzles, and watch the Guardians play. Since college, Rachel and Jenna continue to bowl league, golf, and share many other hobbies together. You will always find these two laughing with each other and going out for icecream. Their favorite spot is Kirtland Creamery.
Amanda Shuluga-Strogin
Bridesmaid
Amanda is Rachel’s sister-in-law and they first met in 2018. She married Rachel’s brother in May 2020. When Rachel came back home from college, they quickly bonded during the pandemic. They both enjoy playing games, doing puzzles and so much more together. Amanda is a Harry Potter super fan, enjoys being active, and loves being a dog mom to their pup, Otter. She is currently getting her PhD in Counseling Education at Kent State to become a professor.
Taylor Russell
Bridesmaid
Taylor and Rachel first met in 2016, their freshman year at UAB. They were both on the women’s bowling team. They instantly clicked and created many memories together while at school and traveling for bowling. They also lived together their sophomore year. Few years later, Taylor is now an ICU nurse and lives in Mobile, Alabama. She is a huge Notre Dame football fan and loves her kitty, Mowgli!
Tara Davis-Vetrovsky
Bridesmaid
Tara and Rachel met a few years ago and she soon married into the family. They became very close through their similar interests, fun game nights, and they both love making ribbon wreaths together for every season! She’s an incredible mom to her little boy Greyson, who is about to be 2! She is also a nurse and loves caring for her patients. Tara and Rachel always enjoy their time together and are lucky to call each other family!
Paige Palmer
Bridesmaid
Paige is Rachel’s cousin. She is 15 years old now, but Rachel spent many summers watching Paige and her older brother, Luke. They shared many experiences together like going to the beach to kayak and paddle board, going to the zoo, or to Cedar Point. Paige just started high school and enjoys playing basketball and fast pitch. Rachel can’t wait to have Paige stand by her on her special day!
Austin Riffer
Best Man
Austin and Justin met their freshman year at Kent State and lived together in the dorms. Since then they’ve shared many great experiences together and now Austin continues to live close by! They both enjoy golfing once or twice a week together in the summertime. Austin enjoys hanging out with his friends and watching sports. He grew up in the Toledo area and roots on the Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Pistons.
Michael Korosi

Mike and Justin met their freshman year at Kent State while living on the same floor. They moved in together their junior and senior year. From college, they shared countless memories, and inside jokes with each other. Now, Mike continues to live close by with Austin and they all enjoy golfing together after work or on the weekends. When they aren’t golfing, Mike enjoys spending time at his lake house or playing hockey in the winter.
JP Cassidy

JP and Justin also met their freshman year at Kent State. Have you seen a trend yet? Justin lived in the townhome together with JP and the other guys their senior year of college. It was the highlight of their college years together. JP and Justin actively played Pokémon Go on campus and continue to play to this day. He is also a big sports fan and enjoys watching football and basketball, but his favorite pastime is spending time with his fiancée, Katie.
Jax Currington

Jax and Justin met their sophomore year at Kent State. Jax was Austin’s roommate at the time and quickly became friends with Justin. They played video games and cracked endless jokes with each other. Jax joined the National Guard and returned to Kent his senior year and lived in the townhome with everyone. Jax is also an active golfer and enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Taylor and his dog, Soka.
Gianna & Izzy Riley
Flower Girls
Gianna & Izzy are sisters, they are Justin’s second cousins. Their infectious smiles and laughs brighten any room they walk into. They both enjoy playing soccer and camping with their family. Justin and Rachel’s favorite memory is watching fireworks with them during July 4th. Justin and Rachel can’t wait for you to meet them and watch them toss flowers down the aisle!
Ava Crews

Ava is the daughter of Rachel’s college bowling coach. Ava is only 5, but she is spunky and funny. She loves going on adventures, like to the playground or zoo and she enjoys bowling and softball. Rachel’s favorite memory is trick or treating with Ava. Justin and Rachel can’t wait for you to meet her and watch her toss flowers alongside Gianna and Izzy.
