We’re kicking off wedding week a little early with a scenic ride on the Gourmet Express Lunch car of the Napa Valley Wine Train—and you’re invited to join us! This optional Sunday outing is a chance to relax, soak in the beauty of wine country, and enjoy a gourmet three-course meal in a vintage Pullman dining car before the festivities officially begin. It’s the perfect way to ease into the celebration. Guests will need to purchase their own tickets. Welcome Event: On the Right Track with The Hudsons

Join us for a welcome event as we kick off the wedding weekend with a private open-air cable car ride around San Francisco! We’ll meet at the Fairmont Hotel Lobby before boarding our cable car and cruising through iconic neighborhoods, taking in the views, and sharing stories as we explore the city together. We’ll be on the cable car for about two hours, and while the views will be stunning, it can get chilly—so layer up. We’d love to have you join us! We will depart promptly at 2 pm. Feel free to bring snacks! Non-alcoholic drinks are welcome too—just make sure they’re in closed, spill-proof containers (no open cups or glassware, please). Note: Street parking and nearby garage parking are available at the Crocker Garage (1021 California St, San Francisco, CA 94108).

Wedding Ceremony

Friends and family, please wear a color or shade that reflects where you met us—whether it’s tied to a place, a memory, or a shared chapter of our lives. Think: Rams in red, Aggies in blue and gold, sorority sisters in pink or green, fraternity brothers in purple or blue, and family in stylish black. It’s a meaningful way to bring your part in our story into the celebration.

Please plan to arrive 20–30 minutes early, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM. Enter through the main Polk Street entrance (also known as Dr Carlton B Goodlett Place, Dr. Goodlet was a civil rights leader, physician, and newspaper publisher). After security, walk 25 feet to the elevators on your left. Hit number 4 in the elevator. Upon exiting, make a right and then an immediately left down a short corridor, until you see a large, spacious area to your left. It will be set up with chairs and a velvet rope and sign with the our names. Note: Parking is in the Civic Center Parking Garage (355 McAllister St, San Francisco, CA 94102)
