Taxco - Silver City
Day trip from Cuernavaca. Must see Taxco, the Silver city of the world, spectacular views and amazing silver markets in a small town on the side of a mountain. 1 hour drive or take a bus from Cuernavaca Centro bus station

Tepoztlan - Pueblo Magico
Tepoztlan is one of the "Pueblos Magicos" of Mexico, aka Magical towns. Known as a spiritual and mystical town just 45 min from Cuernavaca. Drive or take a bus from Cuernavaca. Make sure to eat at the most colorful restaurant called "Los Colorines", get ice cream of EVERY flavor at Tepoznieves, visit the food market and church. Want to make it an adventure? Get your climbing shoes and climb the Tepozteco, 1 hour hike up the nearby mountain and see the pyramid on top while gazing over Tepoztlan. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
