FAQs

The Wedding Website of Véronique Richard and David Sider
Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us for our big day! The dress code is Semi-Formal/Cocktail. We kindly ask the ladies to avoid wearing white or olive green, as these colours are reserved for the bride and bridal party.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our nearest and dearest! Unless your invitation specifically includes a plus one, we kindly ask that you attend solo. We wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to space and budget, we’re keeping things intimate. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only occasion. We hope this night can be a special evening out for you to relax, celebrate, and enjoy!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to arrive 15-30 minutes before the ceremony begins. This will give you plenty of time to park, find your seat, and settle in before the celebration starts. We’d love for everyone to be seated so the ceremony can begin smoothly, without interruptions.

Question

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

There is ample of on-site parking on the property!

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! We don’t have a traditional registry as we’re going back to New Zealand shortly after the wedding to finish school and we can’t bring much with us. If you’d like to bless us with a gift, a contribution toward our new beginning together would mean so much. Thank you so so much for your love and support! For those who kindly wish to contribute, we will have a box for cards at the venue or a QR code to scan.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Absolutely! There will be a cash bar available with plenty of options to toast the night away. Just don’t forget to bring your party spirit, and a little spending money! Please drink responsibly. We want everyone to make it home safe!

Question

Is there a hotel nearby?

Answer

Yes! There are a few hotels nearby. They are a short, 15-minute drive from the venue. Please see the "Travel" tab for the different hotel options.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by November 15th, 2025 so we can finalize all the details. We’d love to have everyone there, but if we don’t hear from you by then, we’ll assume you can’t make it. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please click the "RSVP" tab and type in your name. All invited guests in your party will appear to mark as "attending". Please remember to RSVP for all events, and choose your meal.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

We will miss having you there! If you cannot attend for any reason, we understand. Please still RSVP with a “no” so we can plan accordingly. It really helps us out, and we’ll be sending love your way either way!

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

You bet! We’re keeping it cozy and delicious! On the menu: Lasagna - the groom’s favorite (with both meat and vegetarian options) Chicken Penne Alfredo – creamy, cheesy perfection Caesar Salad – because we needed something green on the plate Please let us know what you would like when you RSVP!

Question

I still have questions. Who should I contact?

Answer

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with us (David or Vero) on Facebook Messenger. Just please be mindful that we will be very busy as it gets closer to the wedding, so we might not reply immediately.
