Welcome Drinks

Where what you'd like!
We are going to gather at the pub at 4 pm for drinks and light snacks. We will order small plates to share, beer, wine and soft drinks for guests. There will be vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. The Casa do Fauno doesn't take reservations, so we will need folks to show up close to 4 pm, when the bar opens, to hold down some tables! It is located in the heart of Sintra and super close to the Quinta da Regaleira, Castelo dos Mouros, and other cool sites to see. So you can enjoy your day exploring Sintra and meet up with us after for Happy Hour :) We'll be outside in the late afternoon and depending on the weather it may be be a hot sunny day. We're going to lock down some spots in the shade, but we suggest wearing comfortable clothes and using sunblock. Come by for a drink and some mingling! Bus to the Wedding (Lisbon to Sintra to Quinta do Lumarinho)

We have arranged bus transportation to and from the wedding departing from Lisbon and Sintra, but we have a very limited number of seats. The bus will leave from the Praça Martim Moniz by the Hotel Mundial (LISBON) at 12:30 PM. The bus will leave from the Sintra train station at 1:00 PM (SINTRA). The bus will not wait in Sintra, it will only make a brief stop for pick-up, so you will need to be there on or before 1 pm. We will make sure to text and update you on the status of the bus. Ceremony

Guests should feel free wear what you like! Generally the weather in Sintra in early July is warm For shoes: the ceremony will be on turf.
The Quinta do Lumarinho will open to guests at 1 pm. Water and juice will be available to guests before the ceremony. We have reserved a bus for our out-of-town guests to get to the wedding. The bus will pick up guests in Lisbon at the Praça de Martim Moniz (Martim Moniz Plaza) @ 12:30 pm and will pick up guests in Sintra at the Sintra Train Station at 1:00 pm. Bring your dancing shoes! We will have 2 buses available for guests leaving the reception, making stops at the Sintra train station and Praça de Martim Moniz in Lisbon. The first bus will depart from Quinta do Lumarinho at 10 pm. The second bus will depart from the Quinta at 1 am. Late Bus leaving the Wedding (Quinta do Lumarinho to Sintra to Lisbon)

The bus will make stops at the Sintra train station (very close to the after party location!) and at the Martim Moniz Plaza in Lisbon by the Hotel Mundial. After Party

Ain't no party like a Verónicus party, cuz a Verónicus party don't stop! The Salla de Estar has agreed to keep their bar open for us a few hours after close, for anyone that wants to keep the party alive for a few more hours after the reception! The Salla de Estar is a 1 minute walk from the Sintra train station, so folks that are planning to take the 1 am bus, can easily walk from the bus drop-off point to the bar. And if you're staying in Sintra, it is an easy walk to most hotels in the downtown, Sintra area. Make sure you have some cash on hand to pay for drinks.
