Will the ceremony and reception be at the same place?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all take place at 50 Trails End Aurora, Ohio 44202.

How do I RSVP online?

Answer

Click the RSVP tab above and type your first & last name in the search bar. After you have done so your party will come up and the events you're invited to! You will also have the option to select what kind of food you'd like for dinner and add any dietary restrictions you may have.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony & cocktail hour will be outside- weather permitting and then dinner & dancing will take place inside.

What is the attire?

Answer

We would really love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting that all of our guests dress in a Formal attire. Ladies should wear midi dresses or floor length dresses. Gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or any colored button-down shirt with dress pants. We invite you to think 'Garden Party' and ask that you get a little creative and colorful with your Formal wedding guest attire. Think floral prints and pastel colors. Ladies, the ceremony will be outdoors in a hydrangea garden, so take this into account when choosing your heels and please avoid short dresses. Gentlemen, no jeans or hats please! We kindly ask that you avoid traditionally reserved colors for the bride - whites, ivories and creams.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to many factors including a strict budget, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named. Your invitation will be named out to "The (Your Last Name) Family" if your children have been invited and "Mr. and Mrs." if only you and your significant other have been invited.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your guest name is listed on your invite and when you RSVP then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close family and friends.

Where can I stay?

Answer

A block of rooms has been reserved at The Bertram Inn and Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland- Twinsburg for our guests at a discounted rate from Thursday, September 12, 2024 into Saturday, September 14, 2024. Please mention 'Duarte- Mersek Wedding' when making your reservations. Kindly reserve your room(s) by August 25th. For our out-of-town families and friends, we have suggested a few hotels that are in Mentor/Painesville that you can check out under the Hotels + Airports tab.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

If you are staying at The Bertram Inn, we will have a shuttle providing transportation to and from the venue. The shuttle will start taking guests to Aurora Meadows at 4:00 PM until 4:30 PM and then at the end of the night shuttle back to The Bertram Inn starts 9:45 PM until 11:00 PM.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be complimentary parking. Our venue also allows overnight parking, but vehicles need to be picked up by 1:00 PM the following the day.

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony and post on social media?

Answer

We kindly request that all cell phones, cameras and devices are put away for an unplugged ceremony. We have hired professional photographers and a videographer to capture this special moment so that you can sit back, relax and enjoy it with us. You are more than welcome to use your personal devices to photograph and post any time after the ceremony (i.e., cocktail hour, reception, dancing).

We will be serving light passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a served dinner and dessert.

Yes, duh! The drinks are on us, the hangover's on you!

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

Answer

Last call for drinks is at 10:30 PM & newlyweds send off is at 11:00 PM!

Is there an After- Party?

Answer

We will be hanging out & drinkin' the drinks at 'Paws' after the reception! It's the bar located inside of The Bertram Inn! Please take advantage of the shuttle that will be dropping off guests there or schedule your Uber/Lyft ride in advance!

What should I do if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not get a RSVP back by the date which we have provided, it will be marked as a "No." You will be missed but we must provide total guests count to our vendors in a timely manner. Due to this we will not accept late RSVPs.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

We will miss you celebrating with us! Please RSVP "Will Not Attend". If you have RSVP'd attending but find that you can no longer make it, please notify Vernisse 440-571-2515 or Matt 440-799-1441 as soon as possible.

What will the weather be?

Answer

Ohio is very unpredictable! Let's pray for perfect weather! However, please come prepared for temperatures ranging from 80 degrees and a possible low of 50 degrees.
