We’re getting married!

Matt and Vernisse have known each other for quite some years now. They went to the same high school and had a class or two together while in school. Fast forward to two years after graduating high school- Matt decided to send Vernisse a snapchat asking her if she would like to catch up and hangout one night. Vernisse was feeling spontaneous, so she said yes! They ended up meeting at Headlands Beach, they go on a beach stroll and talked about anything and everything! They talked about what's been going on since graduation, each other's families and activities they enjoyed! Summer 2018 was off to a great beginning as Matt and Vernisse hit it off! They went on a lot of beach sunset dates, attended a handful of summer cookouts hosted by their friends & families and evenings at Lost Nation watching Matt play in a summer basketball league. End of July comes around, Matt's family had hosted a housewarming party, it was Vernisse's first time meeting Matt's relatives and some even from out of state. They go around and socialize, all of the sudden Vernisse was caught by surprise when Matt introduces her as his girlfriend to everyone at the party! Vernisse made Matt ask her out that same night formally hahahah They are now going on 6 years of being together!! A lot of things have happened in between, as many of you know they are dog mom & dad to Mr. Cooper, and they proudly purchased their first home together in October of 2022! They have witnessed each other's many accomplishments, from Matt getting his CDL licensure for work to Vernisse graduating college. They both also endured their fair share of challenges but throughout it all they've supported each other unconditionally and always found a way to figure things out!
