Everyone meet my big sister Naysha! She has been there since day one. . LITERALLY! From babysitting me to leaving me to hang with her friends to being the best aunty to Cam! Naysha is the momma to one of the beautiful flower girls Nia and the beautiful Jr. Bridesmaid Sanai! She has many talents, her hair business being one #doubleupbundles! and she's a nurse!. . .Yes she's official! My big sister and I have been through it all! (I still think we need our own reality show lol) But of course I need my sister by my side as I marry my mister! I also wanted to add that Naysha enjoys long walks to the BANK and candlelit dinners!

Everyone meet Porschia! We had both moved to GA almost around the same time. We had started positions within Cobb County school district! We spent a long time one day in the parking lot of the school after work just talking and connecting! We were creating big plans together! and we swore up and down that we were going to take on ATL! But then I had to tell Porschia that I was pregnant now those plans may have slowed down but she was there!! The things she did for me words can't describe (she always considers them small or say "oh that's nothing" but it obviously touched me! (and I'm already sensitive so there's that! lol) Porschia is an extremely genuine person and a great friend that has also had my back and and it is only right that she is my Maid of honor!
Sterling
Best Man
Sterling and I met in Cincinnati at Xavier University back in 2016. Sterling is the closest person I have to a blood brother! Sterling and I are almost identical when it comes to our passion of sports, community outreach and youth development. My bro and I have had some great times back in Graduate School and we both graduated the Sport Administration Masters Program at the same time. I'm blessed to have met Sterling and he's an admirable, respectable and trustworthy man. With all of those great things being said, Sterling is a Dallas Cowboys fan, which makes it ironic that we are the best of friends, but also very entertaining. At least I can say that we witnessed the Eagles win a Super Bowl together back in '17. I'm honored to have Sterling as my best man for my wedding!

Meet Jasmine!! We met in Cincinnati! It's funny because both of our men share what we always call a "bromance"! Our relationship grew simply because of the relationship between the best man and the groom! I am extremely happy that because of their friendship/brotherhood Jas and I are able to have a friendship/sisterhood! She's extremely true and genuine! She is the hype QUEEN! Ain't no shame in her GAME! You will definitely catch her at the bar and on the dance floor! I am extremely happy to call her both a friend and my bridesmaid!!

Meet Ms. Daejell! Or as my parents like to call her "preacher girl"! We have been friends since we were freshman in high school and still counting! She always had my back and continues to do so! Like that time in Aqua (school) when she had to hold me back. . . .I wont continue I'll let her share all the funny stories! You more than likely will catch Daejell at the bar and on the dance floor documenting all the craziness and then sharing it for memories blackmail and simply just fun!

D. Ray, also known as Doonie, is Vernesha's big brother. I've known Doonie since I've been dating Vernesha. He's a stand up guy who's mellow and chill like myself. I enjoy our conversations about sports, life and he's always showed me love and respect. It's unfortunate that he's a NY Giants fans, but besides that he's solid. Make sure to have the the bottles of Tequila on ice for my bro. Honored to have him as one of my groomsman!

Meet Stacy! We have been friends since freshman year in high school! We have so many memories and funny times that we shared together. She's truly an amazing person inside and out and just genuine! You will for sure catch her at the bar but there is one thing that stands out the most with her. ..Her LAUGH! If you hear anything so unique and hilarious it's Stacy's signature laugh! You won't forget it! Aside from being such a great friend Stacy is an amazing mommy, wife, and hard worker and I am extremely blessed to have her as my close friend and bridesmaid!

Jon, aka Jobin, has been friends with me since 2nd grade! We've always stayed close friends throughout middle school, high school and past college as well. Jon has always been a solid dude and I appreciate him as one of my closest friends. Y'all might see "Jobin" come out when the drinks are flowing! In all seriousness, Jon is a great guy and I'll never forget all the house parties he's had throughout high school. Honored to have him as one of my groomsman!

Meet Brianna! We keep it cute and call her "Bri"! But when we're acting up it's "Killa Bri"! We have been friends since being Freshman at ECSU and we are still counting! We have stories for days! Like that time we were at Blarneys and. . . . Nope!! I'm not gone do it!! You can find her at the bar or wherever the Tequilla is! You might catch her on the dance floor if you hear a beat drop and the song starts like "Cash money taking over for the 99. .."I personally wouldn't want it any other way!!

Dajoun, better known as DJ, has been like a brother to me since my junior year in college! We met at Eastern Connecticut State University and both were members of the MALES (Men, Achieving, Leadership, Excellence and Success) organization. I served as President in 2014-2015 and DJ took over after I graduated. DJ is a great friend who always brings life to the party. It's been great to see his growth after college from Big DJ to GQ model status now. In all seriousness, DJ's always shown love and respect throughout the years. I'm honored to have DJ as a groomsman!

Sean and I have had some unforgettable moments together through playing baseball together for years, partying together and just hanging out. Meet Ahmeesha! But we call her "Mimi" ! We've been Friends since high school! The only thing that separated us was her going to the Army and me away at school! She is a great friend and such a great mommy to her son! She's another ride or die and boy do we have many stories and memories! When it comes down to turning up Mimi is always LIT! You can catch her at the bar or more than likely running to the dance floor two-stepping with her cup in hand!

Justin Goot (better know by his last name) and I met in 2015 while working at Great Oaks Charter School through AmeriCorps in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Goot is a diehard Eagles fan like myself, but besides sharing the agony of being an Eagles fan, he's been one of my closest friends since I've met him. He has a love for sports and impacting the youth like I do. Goot and I even shared an Eagles game experience in Philly (yes they lost) back in 2018. Justin is an all around solid friend and I'm honored to have him as a groomsman!

Meet Stephanie! I don't even know where to start! Ya'll might think we got a celebrity in the building because she always gets passed as "E-v-e" On somedays and Keke Palmer on other days! You can call her Steph! But when I say ride or die she is always down! Stephanie is the twin to Stacy! And as you already know the trend, you can catch all my girls at the bar and on the dancefloor! Steph is an amazing person and amazing mommy! I genuinely love our friendship and I am so blessed to have her as a friend and my bridesmaid!

James is my young cousin who is like a little brother to me! We've always had a close relationship and our mom's are twins. It's been great to see his transformation over the years, making smart decisions and continuing to grow in college. I have a lot of love and respect for my cousin. I love talking about sports, life and cracking jokes with James. He'll turn 21 a month before the wedding, so he'll be enjoying the real turn up with us. Honored to have James as my groomsman!

Mark and I met in Cincinnati at the YMCA back in 2016 as coworkers. We went from coworkers to great friends. Mark has an infectious personality and can make anyone laugh. We’ve had some great times being out downtown Cincinnati and Mark can definitely be the life of the party! My guy has always been solid with me and is a great man. The brother is musically talented as a singer and piano/keyboard player. To all the single black women attending the wedding looking for a god-fearing, funny and caring man, look no further than my bro Mark! Meet Nia! This is my niece and will be one of our beautiful flower girls! Nia loves dancing so you can bet she will be on the dance floor killing those tik tok dances! If she props her phone up to do a challenge, just let her be great! lol Nia would also like to battle anyone who steps to her! funny thing to share! Nia requested to have all of the "old people" old school music in the beginning and then all the new school for the rest of the party! I know, she is something else!

Meet Cameron! Our handsome son! You can call him "Cam" he sometimes go by "poppa" "pop" or "Cam the man"! We met him on April 5, 2019! and he changed our lives forever! You can catch him attached at the hip with his mommy&daddy or on the laps of his grandma, papa who Cam refers to as "partner" or his Meme!
