Question

Do you have any hotel or travel recommendations for visitors to BermudaDo you have any hotel or travel recommendations for visitors to Bermuda

Answer

We offer several options on the TRAVEL page of this site. There are several suggestions for airlines and lodging, as well as a cruise option. Please search multiple websites for discounted prices, such as Expedia, Google Flights, and CheapCruises.com. This will allow you to obtain the most reasonable prices for this destination wedding.

Question

I am visiting Bermuda. Will I need a passport?I am visiting Bermuda. Will I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, you will need a passport to travel to and from Bermuda.

Question

I am visiting Bermuda. Will I be able to use my cell phone without being charged ridiculous rates?I am visiting Bermuda. Will I be able to use my cell phone without being charged ridiculous rates?

Answer

Please take our advice and download WHATSAPP on your phone if you haven't already. If you have folks that you want to be able to keep in touch with back home, have them download it as well. This is how Robert and Vernelle communicate daily for free! Take advantage of Wifi access whenever you can. If you have T-Mobile, using your cell phone in Bermuda is free for texting and roaming, so you don't need a wifi signal. However, making phone calls on your network will incur charges of 20 cents/min. (But it is free on WhatsApp) For other carriers, please check with them prior to traveling. Many have International plans for a reasonable cost, so you don't get back to the USA and find a huge cell phone bill waiting for you.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding? Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We have planned a few events leading up to the wedding, so that we may celebrate with you and welcome those traveling to the island. While we would love for you to join at each one, we totally understand that this may be your first time visiting Bermuda or your first vacation for the summer. Please do not feel obligated to join us if you just want to relax on a beach, sleep in all day, explore the island, or go on an excursion. We want you to enjoy your visit the way you prefer to. We are most excited about celebrating with you on our wedding day at the ceremony and reception. Don't forget to RSVP to the various events.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the cruise port or our lodging to the ceremony? Is there transportation to and from the cruise port or our lodging to the ceremony?

Answer

A private shuttle will pick up anyone arriving by cruise boat at the Dock Yard port. Pick up will take place at 6:15 pm. Drop off will be once the wedding festivities end at 11:00 pm. For those staying at local guest homes, we are working on plans to arrange pick-ups and drop-offs for you as well. Stay tuned for more details.

Question

Is there a dress code?Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will take place on the beach at Chaplin Bay. The reception will be a short drive away at Scaur Hill Fort & Park under a tent. Both events will be outdoors in the evening, so dress comfortably but cute for warm weather. Consider wearing sandals or dressy flip flops so that you can walk safely on the beautiful pink sand.

Question
