FAQs

The Wedding Website of Verity Williams and Jonah Owens
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We request semi-formal attire, such as a cocktail-length dress or a suit and tie. Above all, we want you to wear what you feel comfortable in! Please note that the ceremony will be outdoors on grassy terrain. We recommend that you bring warm layers, and wear a thicker heeled shoe.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time to find a seat.

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

If you received a plus one, it will kindly say so on the invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep our wedding as intimate as possible with close friends and family.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Although we love your children, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event outside of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening to relax and enjoy a date night!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! Beer, wine, and house cocktails will be available on us. If you would like to consume alcoholic beverages, please bring your ID. The bartenders will card.

Question

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of free parking at the venue.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside. The reception will take place indoors. It will likely be moderately cool during the ceremony, around mid 50s to low 60s F (13-18 C). We greatly encourage layering with warm clothing. Beginning at 5:00pm, we will be indoors in a climate-controlled room.

Question

Does the venue have accessible entrances?

Answer

The outdoor ceremony is on natural terrain, but is well maintained so it should be compatible with a wheelchair. While there is not a ramp for the path from the ceremony to the reception, you can park in a lot next to the ceremony location, and then move your car to a lot that is next to the reception location.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please kindly RSVP by December 11th! If we don't hear from you by December 11th, we will assume that you are unable to attend, as it is critical that we get an accurate headcount to our vendors.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

In order to accommodate as many dietary restrictions as possible, dinner will be buffet-style with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
