Michael is Matt's best friend given by nature. Growing up, they mainly were connected by the shared interest of living in the same house. However, as they grew older, the typical feelings between siblings grew into genuine love and affection for each other. Michael enjoys singing and playing with his dog, Heidi. They both live in the same area, one in the South the other up North, but they still try to see each other as much as they can to keep the family together. However, they immediately became close by discovering that they both repeatedly told the same stories. They have been best friends ever since. Ryan's pastimes include board games and pizza. Luciana taught Veramis how to tie her shoes and speak properly, and Veramis taught Luciana how to behave at school. Their new hobby is to watch scary movies with sharks and cooking shows. She also brought Matt to the cruise where the couple met. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys dancing, writing, and having two X chromosomes. Estefy is one of Veramis' best friends since kindergarten. When they were kids, they played dance competitions and always fought for Luciana's love and attention. In 2013, they traveled together for a month in Europe, when Veramis was living in Valencia. They love to eat Estefy's mom's bolognesa and watch Disney movies together, because they are both princess. Estefy es una de las mejores amigas más queridas de Veramis desde el jardín de niños. Cuando eran pequeñas, jugaban competencias de baile y siempre luchaban por el amor y la atención de Luciana. Más tarde, en 2013, ellas viajaron juntos por un mes en Europa durante el semestre en que Veramis vivió en Valencia. Forrest has been one of Matt's most supportive friends for years. They were first friends at Scout camp, but they didn't become as close as they are now until years later, when they reconnected and began spending much time together. Now he is Matt's go-to man when it comes to drinking, brainstorming, video games, and various shenanigans. For fun, Forrest will do literally anything. Forrest ha sido uno de los amigos más solidarios de Matt durante años. Fueron sus primeros amigos en el campamento Scout, pero no eran tan cercanos hasta años después, cuando se reconectaron y comenzaron a pasar más tiempo juntos. Vicky and Veramis became friends when both of them arrived in the USA and lived close to each other in Jamaica Plain. They started to grow close by preparing Spanish meals together, dye their hair, shopping and going out to dance in Boston. She was also the one who convinced Veramis to go on the Halloween cruise where the couple met. Vicky y Veramis se hicieron amigas cuando ambas llegaron a los Estados Unidos y vivían cerca una de la otra en Jamaica Plain. Comenzaron a pasar tiempo juntas preparando comidas españolas, tiñéndose el cabello, comprando ropa y saliendo a bailar Boston. Will has been the steady rock for Matt for as long as they have known each other. They originally met at camp, where Will was Matt's supervisor. However, the two quickly became close through their mutual love of the job and the fun they had in complaining about it. Now he is one of the most stable people in Matt's life. He enjoys shooting sports and building bonfires. Will ha sido la roca firme para Matt desde que se conocieron. Originalmente se encontraron en el campamento, donde Will era el supervisor de Matt. She and Veramis love to dance songs of Michael Buble. She always gives Veramis the best advice: to be herself. Since then, they have bonded over affinities for everything from Stephen King to "The Lego Movie," and they continue to bounce ideas off of each other. When available, Eric likes to create films and play games with his friends. Eric es la voz tranquila y compuesta de la razón para la vida ruidosa de Matt. When she was little she used to be quiet and play with her friends every day. She tried to teach Veramis how to drive but unfortunately, she didn't succeed in that mission. When they are together, both love to do their nails and eat sushi. Durante años, Mafer, o Maria Fernanda, fue la amiga alta y bonita del grupo que tenía el sueño de ser modelo al crecer. Ahora ella es una abogada exitosa. Cuando era pequeña solía ser muy tranquila y jugar con sus amigas todos los días. Intentó enseñarle a Veramis a conducir, pero desafortunadamente no tuvo éxito en su misión. Cuando están juntas, a ambas les encanta hacerse las uñas y comer sushi.

Roy is one of Matt's oldest friends. They first met as children in the same Cub Scout troop and over the next two decades did everything from attending school together to working at the same Scout camp. Now they see each other at least once a week to catch up on the latest news or simply talk. Roy's hobbies include board games, Dungeons and Dragons, and riding his motorcycle. Roy es uno de los amigos más antiguos de Matt. Se conocieron cuando eran niños en la misma tropa de Scouts y durante las siguientes dos décadas hicieron todo juntos,asistir a la misma escuela, hasta trabajar en el mismo campamento.
