If you're joining us from outside of Canada, your closest major air hub is Toronto (YYZ/YTO). You can take a taxi (or the airport train) downtown, and if you are booking a hotel, we recommend staying near Union Station, Yorkville or in the city's west end. If you are opting for an AirBNB instead, let us know and we can help you select a good option. Well-located hotels include: The Drake Hotel, The Gladstone Hotel, Hotel X Toronto, Hazleton Hotel, The Fairmont Royal York, Shangri-La Hotel Toronto, The St. Regis Toronto, The Ritz-Carlton Toronto, and the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto.
Rental Car
Prince Edward County is a 2.5 hour drive from Toronto, so renting a car (or carpooling) is recommended. Renting through National, Hertz or Thrifty are all reliable options, or you can use an aggregator like Expedia. Each operator has airport and downtown locations. With a vehicle arranged, you're all set to enjoy the open road. You'll have quite a bit of free time to visit wineries, head to a beach or explore The County over one of Ontario's iconic summer long weekends. We'd love for all of our guests to be able to relax, recover, and enjoy what the area has to offer.

Located in sleepy Bloomfield, Angeline's is a half-dozen hip, refurbished properties that have all been collected under one brand. The impressive nineteenth-century main house was once the proud home of devout Quaker preachers, later a boarding house, then a grand country retreat. Now it houses five eclectic suites and the main bar, which also serves the other rooms on their growing resort - the two-story Coach House Loft, the cozy Chalet, the nine-room Walter Motor Inn and the impressive Babylon Log House, a 150-year-old white cedar log cabin that was disassembled at its original location and reassembled, beam by beam, in its new home.

Located in the heart of downtown Picton, The Merrill House is designed to appeal to fans of Victorian architecture, contemporary art, and of course, local wine. Built in 1878 for Prince Edward County's first magistrate, this gothic revival mansion was purchased by art collector and entrepreneur Jordan Martin in early 2019 and converted into a quirky boutique hotel with luxurious flourishes. Each of the fifteen rooms was designed with a different theme in mind, from the Gustav Klimpt-inspired Tower Suite to the so-called Haunted Room - an old servant's quarters on the third floor. It's unique and memorable - just like our guests.

Located in the intimate countryside of Milford, Jackson’s Falls County Inn was originally established in 1870 as a one-room public school house. The gorgeous, historic property was purchased in 2020 and turned into a boutique inn by Drew and Natalie Wollenberg, who moved from Australia to Prince Edward County back in 2014 and quickly established themselves as prominent local entrepreneurs. You can see their handiwork at The County Canteen on Picton's main drag (their first business venture in the area), where their love and passion for craft beer evolved and inspired the establishment of 555 Brewing Company. Not surprisingly, the main lobby at Jackson's Inn has been updated in 2022 to feature a wine and beer bar - Drew and Natalie are looking forward to pouring a few glasses for our guests!

The June Motel was founded in 2016 by April Brown and Sarah Sklash – two best friends from Toronto with no experience in the travel industry, but who shared a love for discovering new destinations, for good wine and for creative designs. They quit their jobs, purchased a dingy roadside motel in Prince Edward County, rolled up their sleeves and re-imagined the entire experience of staying at a motel, right down to the chilled glass of wine at check-in. The June has been such a hit that Netflix came calling, and asked April and Sarah to repeat the trick as hosts of a new show called Motel Makeover. It premiered in 2021, and its six episodes track their exploits as they work to launch a second (equally Instagrammable) June Motel in nearby Sauble Beach. We're excited for our guests to experience The June!
